Very nice - Edit
Went for dinner, even though was almost closing everything was fresh and warm. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. As with other reviews, it’s a lot of food. I got 2 lunches from left overs. We tried the Saj zataar (good but a little acidic, better with some yogurt). Sardoukh cheese, delicious. The hummus and falafel were excellent, hummus very smooth and the falafel in donut shap instead of balls were less dry. We had the vegan kebeeh and vegan cheese sambousek, both good

Really, really like this place. They have great service and very friendly atmosphere. Lots of clearly marked vegan options. I tried the Vegan Chicken wrap which is quite different -- besides the vegan chicken, they put french fries, ketchup, pickles and garlic. It sounded strange but it was tasty. Although, if I ordered it again, I might ask them to customize it to make it a bit healthier.
Read morePros: Good vibes, Tasty food, Eco-friendly packaging (at least for the wraps)
Cons: Might not be the best place for healthy vegan fare

First time to Furn Saj - Edit
Mediterranean as I expected, but with a gargantuan serving of each portion. This plate could feed 3. And so therefore, upon being served I asked immediately for a to-go container. The vegan chicken is very tasty and was served piping hot. Salad is delicious. I will be returning for more Furn Saj. #mediterranean

Thanks Roadie for the tip! I just had lunch there and it was everything you said it was and more! They seem to be vegan-friendly and friendly in general. You might pay a little more but its totally worth it if you make 2-3 meals. I got the vegan chicken also but opted for hummus as a side which I would recommend since the vegan chicken is served on a bed of rice. The gal told me the chicken is tofu based so that is a lot of protein between the chicken and the hummus. I don't know what the to go containers look like but I was very happy that they use paper plates. I brought my leftovers home with me on the same paper plate which was fine since I live close by. So happy you talked me into trying this place! :))
