Funky doughny is the place to have a snack in town. Sweet and savoury refreshing vegan doughnuts, locally sourced and homemade. The owners also tries to not waste the leftovers with discounts the next day or using apps such as Too Good to Go (highly appreciate). Everytime I pop by I got the privilege to try a new flavour. A well deserved 5 star review 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This was such a treat to randomly find! I couldn't believe everything was vegan and stumbled in by accident.
Read moreI had the snickers and hazelnut filled donuts and they were SO JUICY! I preferred the snickers one, the dough tasted a little bit more friend on the hazelnut but I think many would like that. I actually ate them together and they kind of harmonized.
I'm going back before leaving Caen, an absolute MUST VISIT as vegan doughnuts aren't that common in general.
And I love meeting the owners of small shops like this. I hope this young lady never gives up and continues to make veganism more popular here in France. It's not easy for sure.

Amazing Vegan Doughnuts - Edit
Stopped off at Funky Doughny for a vegan doughnut. Not many opportunities for such a treat in France. Amazing Tiramisu doughnut, so good I didn’t even think to take a picture. Luckily I bought a spare for later. Lovely young lady owns the shop, remember to support her she’s doing a wonderful job. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
