Satisfactory

This is a casual, elegant Italian restaurant (waiter-served, silverware, cloth napkins) that offers a few vegan items. I had a vegan pizza, it was fine.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, decent food

Cons: No vegan desserts

Good vegan pizza + AMAZING fries

I believe there were a few vegan options. I had the vegan pizza which has daiya cheese and some pesto. The pesto was good but would have been better as a thin layer rather than giant globs imo. The fries were amazing and i highly recommend. However, I was told the bread they give is NOT vegan which was sad.

Pros: Marked vegan options, Fries are super good, Great staff

Cons: A bit pricey , Loud music not fitting the vibe, Non vegan bread

Pizza My Heart

As a long-time vegan, I long ago realized that pizza is the holy grail. Not that I really miss it too much ... okay, I miss it. Don't we all? Sometimes I try to find it and it's mostly disappointing. Sometimes I buy a frozen one -- when isn't this a mistake?! (In the Bay Area, there is a chain called Patxi's which does a decent vegan pizza.) And frankly, I can go years without pizza -- what's the point, after all?!

Fumo's is the holy grail for vegan pizza! Firstly, it's got pesto on it. Really?! Yes, vegan pesto (and you can have pasta with pesto there too!) on a pizza with Daiya cheese. They don't skimp on the cheese and the pizza is delicious. They will switch out vegan cheese on a lot of their other dishes, too. It's even a suggestion on the eggplant parmigiana. We had a lovely salad and an absolutely scrumptious pizza there for a late night nosh.

The pizza crust was perfectly crispy from their brick oven and the cheese was melted to perfection. Really not to be missed. One pizza with salad was plenty of food for me and my sister.

The restaurant is beautifully appointed. And while the atmosphere is a little noisy, it's a friendly crowd and there is outdoor seating. The waitstaff was super nice and they answered lots of questions. Also, if you like craft cocktails, their mixologists are top rate!

Pros: Exceptionally good vegan wood-fired pizza , Delicious vegan pesto, Happy to make substitutions

Cons: Limited vegan options, A bit noisy

Solid Italian locale

This spot is in my local nabe and is a great option for vegetarian/vegans looking for a standard Italian spot (pizza, pasta, salad). They do list vegan options on the menu (pizza with vegan cheese and cashew pesto is one) but there are lots of veganizable options too, and they are very willing to work with you. The vegan pesto is delish!

Quality is good and they have set up a nice outdoor area on the sidewalk.

Pros: Good quality, Vegan/veg options, Very accomodating

Great ambiance, tasty

It’s great to have an Italian restaurant with very clearly labeled vegan options. I had the pizza which was great, but I’m dying to go back and try the pesto pasta! They were accommodating, so it’s probably possibly to modify some other non-vegan dishes.

Pros: Great ambience, Food was delicious

Cons: Not a wide variety of vegan options, Expensive
