Vegan lunch set - Edit
The lunch set is vegan, delicious and wholesome food for a very good price. The basque cheesecake was so tasty we ordered another piece to eat while reading some interesting magazines that were available.

Delicious, loving and stylish - Edit
Two vegan set menu options, very very tasty, organic and tenderly prepared. Very nice staff. Has various options of soft drinks and also some organic alcoholic drinks. There is a super nice shop included in the restaurant where you can buy beautiful designer-clothes and also food and other nice stuff. Highly recommend the place.

Favourite meal - Edit
My favourite vegan meal in all of Shikoku! The only downside: it was so filling that I didn't have room to try one of their desserts anymore. :(

Really good experience - Edit
We ordered the set vegan menu. It was delicious - with great portion sizes, and we ate everything! Spacious dining (not cramped), had a few customers there which is always a good sign. Staff were friendly and we highly recommend this restaurant!

Would be 5 stars, this place bangs - Edit
Eating out of the conbinis every day had me delirious so being able to sit down at a spot that knew what vegan meant, and also made banging vegan food almost brought me to tears. Would go here again, goated spot in matsuyama, only 1 vegan option but I didn’t really care

Nice vegan set meal - Edit
Pleasant little spot offering a single vegan set meal for lunch and dinner. When I visited, the set meal included brown rice, miso soup, various fresh veg and some karaage, pickles, and a small drink. Price was a little on the high side but not crazy. The flavours weren't mind blowing by any means, but it was certainly vegan, healthy, and filling, which can be tough to find in Shikoku. A nice change of pace after far too many CoCo Ichibanya visits and convenience store meals.

Took us by surprise - Edit
This tasted amazing!
Read moreIt is okay that they only got two options for meals. One vegan and one animal based but don't know why the vegan option is almost equal on the dinner and lunch menu.
Pros: The food is well balanced.
Cons: The lunch and dinner is almost the same.

Hübsches Restaurant. Die Kellnerin fragte gleich nach vegan oder vegetarisch und zeigte uns die Optionen. Leider keine Englische Karte aber das Essen war wunderbar und sehr lecker. Dazu gab es Tee. Tolles Ambiente.

OK - Edit
I ordered a vegetable macrobiotic plate. The taste was not very strong so if you are accustomed to ordinary vegetarian food in the UK you may feel it is less tasty. The appearance was beautiful but I had little joy of trying different kinds of dish on the same plate.

A cheerful place with nice vegan options - Edit
The staff didn't speak English all that well, but they were helpful in pointing out what was vegan. The meals are traditional Japanese assortments of a main dish, salad, and pickled vegetables. They have tasty vegan cakes and cookies too (sugar free). For a slice of cheesecake and one meal, it was about 15 USD, which I thought was a little expensive.

nice place with two vegan set meal options - Edit
We came here two times for dinner. Additionally, I stopped in to buy some vegan cookies and granola on three occasions.
Read moreThe woman who was working was really nice and the food was great.
Each night there were three set meals options, two of which were vegan.
All desserts are vegan and they have soy milk if you need it with your coffee, etc.
My wife and I came for dinner each night with another couple, one of whom was Japanese... so it was easy to determine which options were vegan. It may have been slightly tricky to navigate the menu otherwise as the woman did not speak any English as far as I could tell (when I came in to purchase things from the store).

Great place, great food - Edit
Loved this place. Cosy atmosphere, I went there three times during my stay in Matsuyama. They change the menu every week if I remember correctly, two out of three meals were vegan every time I was there. The guy who works there (July 2017) is speaks English but not the others.

excellent vegan options and vegan-friendly owners - Edit
The atmosphere is warm, and the food is wonderful.
Read moreThere are two menus. One is the paper menu showing three vegan daily specials, "A," "B," and "C." All three of the specials are vegan set meals every day. The laminated menu contains items that include animal products. All of the desserts are always vegan, as are the fresh baked goods.
The vegan set meals and the fresh banana and nut muffins are delicious. The set meals are served very fast and piping hot and are some of the best vegan meals I've had in years of frequent travel in Japan.
The owner/cooks are very friendly and interested in chatting with customers. They're sincerely enthusiastic about macrobiotic and organic food. They speak a little English and understand what the word "vegan" means quite well. They can inform you about other restaurants with vegetarian food in the area.
1500 yen for a typical vegan set meal. My meal included miso soup, tea or coffee, a salty warm drink that seemed to be miso-based, a bowl of brown rice, a plate of fried fake meat balls with a sweet sauce that seemed to be miso-based, a bowl of fried fake meat balls in a salsa-like sauce with some fresh veggies, a small bowl of hijiki in a mild sauce, and a small bowl of cold mashed potatoes. My tea was served with soy milk on the side. Everything hit the spot.
Pros: high-quality food served fast and hot, nice atmosphere, very friendly owners
Cons: not a vegetarian restaurant, English menu not available
