Large selection, some things a bit bland

There are two separate menus here, one for dim sum, one for other meals. On both there are vegan options but there are tons of options on the second one.
Dishes from the second menu seem to come with white rice.
I liked this restaurant a lot but I subtract one star because some of our dishes were, unfortunately, a bit bland (yuba dumplings, crystal dumplings and a dish with vegan chicken, tofu, mushrooms and pickles). They were still tasty though.
And I can really recommend the hot and sour soup, and the longevity peach dim sum, both were great!
I also really liked that you can order unlimited tea :)
I want to go again but try some different dishes.

Very good, authentic Chinese vegan options

The vegan options are clearly labelled and there are a decent number to choose from, including dumplings, soup, greens, and main dishes with, seitan and/or vegan chicken.

We had gai lan with ginger, sour and spicy Peking soup (wasn’t spicy), Ma Po tofu and tofu clay pot. Everything was very good, including the service and the view of Leidsestraat.😄

Such yummy food

Lots of vegan options!
Me and my friends loved this place!
Lots of seating, and has toilets.
We entered 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and still managed to order!

I shared stuff with my friends, we had the choy sum with garlic, the vegan dim sum mix, vegan chow chow dumplings, vegan sweet corn soup with bamboo and tofu, and the fried dough rice noodle roll!
We also had tea for the entire table, was good!

Everyone enjoyed the choy sum, it was really refreshing!

The vegan dim sum mix had two vegetable spring rolls, two soybean sheet rolls, two spinach dumplings, two shiitake mushroom dumplings, and two sesame balls with lotus seed paste!
Everything was super good! I loved the sesame balls with lotus seed paste the most....

The vegan chow chow dumplings were okay, my friends weren't the biggest fans of them but I enjoyed them.

The vegan sweet corn soup with bamboo and tofu was soooo good!!! Really yummy.

And my favourite... the fried dough noodle roll!!!! SO YUMMY! Everyone loved this, the sauce was so good too.

Would go again!

Lovely dim sum

I loved the amount of options they have for dim sum it was difficult to choose! I went for the vegan platter to make it easy and the fried breadstick cheung fan. The platter was mostly fried dumpling so quite heavy but delicious. The cheung fan was my favourite!! It is on the expensive side but it's difficult to find a place with that many vegan options for dim sum so it was worth it!!

My Top Pick for Chinese

Full Moon Garden stands out with an exceptional variety of vegetarian options. There are few, if any, places that offer this much choice. Highly recommended! Be sure to try the aubergine dish and the vegan Peking soup — and there’s so much more. The portions are large, so you might order less, but why would you? — you can always take the leftovers home!

Pros: Exceptional Vegetarian Options, big portions

The most expensive tap water in the city!

They charged us 10 EUROS for 1L of TAP water. I understand they filter it but WHAT THE HELL? Nothing should be charged, 1€ I frown when I pay, 10€ and I feel robbed. Unforgivable.

Cons: VERY expensive water

Delicious favourites

Full Moon Garden had some of my all time favourites available. A lot of their steamed buns were the same, or just dough, but still good.

My favourites were:

Rice noodle rolls
Sesame glutinous bun
Greens in garlic
Greens and rice noodles

The service was also friendly and lovely. Only good things to say about this spot!

Amazing Place. Vegan options marked on the menu!

Portion size makes all the dishes cheap. And so many options. If you like asian food a must go! The honey is vegan

Good food with many options

The food here is really good and there are tons of vegan options. To be honest, I never know if I can trust a non-vegan place to really provide fully vegan meals and it's the same here, but sadly there's no fully vegan Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam yet.

Loads vegetarian and vegan options

We often order in from here. Fake black pepper chicken with asparagus, the ma po tofu, Japanese tofu, fake chicken with mustard greens and aubergine are some of our favorites. They have oodles and oodles of options.

Pros: Lots of tofu and mock chicken options, You can order a small side dish of mixed vegetable, Delivered in paper containers

Awful food!

All of the food we had was bland, slimy and surrounded by grease! Service was fine but the food left us feeling sick. Would not recommend!

Pros: A good amount of veggie options , Okay price

Cons: Bland taste

Confusing but good.

The menu was really hard to navigate with not much explanation from staff. Food was alright and fake meats tasted pretty good. Food came at different times.

Pros: Some vegan options , Quickish food arrival , Nice and clean settings

Cons: Expensive , Staff not so attentive

Yummy vegan Dim Sum

I love how this place has marked all their vegetarian options on the menu. Also every allergen and animal product is marked at every menu item; gelatin, nuts, shrimps, shellish, corn, you name it. Although they don’t have much vegan steamed dishes like dumplings, the wide variety of vegan dishes and snacks made up for that. I ordered the longevity peach buns (which were waaay bigger than I thought they would be👍), sesame balls with sweet filling (one of my favorite Dim Sum items), fried bean curd rolls and a sweet & sour fried tofu dish. All dishes had good portion sizes, were very filling and delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a good vegan Cantonese cuisine experience.

Pros: Delicious food + many vegan options, Friendly staff, Good portion size / price ratio

Cons: A large % of the menu items isn’t vegan
