Nice Bean Curd Dishes

Update May 2023: I’ve been back several times to order the kung pao bean curd and the order was correct. The dish itself is very good! I haven’t seen the server that gave the wrong dish again and all the servers since have been very friendly. Updating from 2 to 3 stars.

I ordered the Kung pao bean curd dish and was given the Kung Pao chicken dish. I thought they had tried to make the tofu look like chicken, which I’ve had at other Asian places, so I ended up eating the meat. The manager came over with the server and apologized and gave me the correct dish, but it wasn’t a great experience. I had also asked for sweet and sour sauce and wasn’t given any until the check arrived. The Fulin’s in Decatur is much better.

Consistently good food

We come here regularly and I always order the red Thai curry tofu with white rice. It’s delicious. We also order the spring rolls and edamame sometimes as appetizers. My son gets the kids vegetable plate which is plenty of food for $5. The prices may be a little high but the portions are huge so I find the prices to be fine. We really like this place. Highly recommend.

Good option to make everyone happy!

Several very good vegan options, including all-vegetable entrees and tofu entrees, including some vegan sushi rolls. The special vegetables noodle soup bowl is amazing, though they could use a good vegan Chinese lunch special.

The management is really good about working with you, too, and can answer questions about whether or not dashi stock was used, etc.

Their website often has coupons and things, too.

Pros: great food, good value, beautiful decor

Cons: not vegetarian only
