I decided to go with the Ndambé mix, and I was positively surprised. Everything tastes good, especially the rice and the bean stew, and the dish is well balanced. Very filling dish. Highly recommended!

Wow, they really work some magic with the vegan ndabe plate because it was incredibly delicious. The flavors were just incredible. So far this is my favorite meal in Oslo.

Pretty good plantains - Edit
Unfortunately not only vegan anymore. Still a few vegan options and the plantains were really good. They've been served with a spicy tomato sauce.

Got the ndabe mix for 199 NOK - really flavourful bean stew, pulled jackfruit, rice ,salads and plantains. Amazing food and generous portions.
Read moreTo note-unfortunately they didn’t have enough plantains left for us to get them as a side dish also

Update: Not vegan anymore. - Edit
Food and Costs (4.5/5)
Read moreCharacteristic, mouth-watering food. Solid pricing, according to Norwegian vegan restaurant standards.
Venue and Vibe (3.5/5)
Adorable place inside of an urban food hall (including other vegan options), which can be too crowded at times.
Service (2/5)
Friendly staff. However, the service ends by the counter.
Edit: -1 star for serving meat now.

I had de Ndambé wrap. Didn't really know what to expect but it was so good. It tasted like nothing I ever had before. And it was so big, definitely worth the money.

Amazing plant based kitchen - Edit
My friend and I tried the Ndambé wrap, filled with Senegalese bean stew, pulled jackfruit, salad and vegan mayo and had some fried plantains on the side. The food was delicious, the portions were more than enough and the food court is a nice place to sit. Would recommend!

Interesting and good option - Edit
Fulani is located inside of the Barcode Street Foodhall and has a small but diverse menu. We tried both of the platter options (one with jackfruit and one with the soy protein). Both of them came with yummy sides and they were able to accommodate gluten free as well.
Read moreUnfortunately some of the platter items like the jackfruit were cold which wasn't very enjoyable, but the plantains and beans were warm and delicious.
If you're looking for some flavors out of the ordinary this is a great place to try -- there are a lot of vegan options in the foodhall so you can try multiple places at once which is also cool.

Excellent in all regards. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients. It also has a "homecooked" quality that is rare to find in vegan food in Norway. The portions are also huge! Definitely coming back here.

Delicious and very filling! - Edit
I ordered the jerk mix with plantains. It was very tasty and filling. I think the ndambé mix will be even better (because of beans and jackfruit instead of 'meat') and I regret not having chosen that one. Maybe next time!
