Bland 😔 pricey, nice staff though - Edit
I feel baaaad because the staff were really nice and fun and the vibes were high. But, contrary to many of the other reviews, neither myself or my sister (who eats meat) enjoyed the meal. The wasabi yams were slimy, the mushrooms undercooked and the veg sushi was creative but all style, no substance unfortunately 😞 all I could taste was the pickled ginger and soy I was dipping it in. I really wanted to like it but neither of us enjoyed the meal and it wasn't cheap! The rice took ages and because they keep it hot at the table, the bottom became crispy and chewy (not in a good way). Wahh I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend it. The lotus chips were good though haha and the staff kind 💞

Delightful place! - Edit
This was bang opposite to the hotel I was staying at and I got so lucky. 5 stars for the staff! The vegan sushi was interesting and fun to eat. Varied textures and taste. The highlight was the grilled sweet potato in their caramelised sauce with vanilla ice cream. Brightened up my whole day!

I had the vegan sushi at Nanone and it was simply amazing — beautifully prepared, full of creativity, and bursting with flavor. You can really tell how much care and passion goes into every dish. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A must-visit for anyone who loves great food and great vibes! 🌿🍣

It was an okay amount of option. You can order from a QR code. The rice is given to you and takes 30 minutes to cook. So we ate the food and was left with a whole pot of rice. The sushi was okay but nothing to rush for. The staff are nice enough and the atmosphere is okay. The avocado tempura was bad imo. One of the worst meals I’ve had in Japan but it’s still an option if you’re looking for vege and meat

They had a separate vegan menu that made it very easy to order. Staff was friendly and warned us every time we were about to order anything containing meat. The food was tasty, would go again!

Went for sushi, but seems like they no longer offer vegan sushi… - Edit
I was excited to try their vegan friendly sushi, but I was told that all the sushi were marinated in animal-based stock and cannot be customized. Sad! Instead, I ordered gyoza, grilled onion, fresh bell pepper and fried dishes- avocado, lotus roots and burdock. Their gyoza and fried lotus roots were very good and flavorful.

This place is near the middle of a ton of restaurants down a side street by the train station. The restaurant was busy but not in a way that made it seem too packed. Their menu had many options for vegetarians and vegans. If you ask, they’ll point out which food is best for you.
