Veg restaurant opposite Confucius Temple and near arched Fuzhong pedestrian street. Serves a vast menu of dishes, including teppanyaki rice, noodles, hot pot, dim sum. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-2:00pm, Mon-Sun 4:30pm-9:00pm. Closed 4th Sunday of each month.

Has an English paper menu where you tick what you want. Staff spoke some English. Good came out super quick and really hot. Was delicious. Two of us ate for $240

Pretty decent food. Cheap. - Edit
Small local restaurant with a handful of tables indoor. Friendly staff, English menu available, but no English spoken. I had a good meal for 80 Taiwanese dollar.
