Pick-up and delivery of fixed price vegan meals. The plate includes salad, rice, four entrees, dessert, and tea. Also has samosas and chutneys, and freshly made Ginger spiced lemonade. Can offer curbside delivery out to the street in front of the Global Engagement Center. Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-1:30pm.

A Satisfying Vegan Meal

They have great chick peas in tomato sauce on Monday, kofta balls and mixed vegetables on Tuesday, a vegan macaroni and cheese along with tofu in barbecue sauce on Wednesday, a completely awesome Asian stir fry and an Indian bean soup (dal) on Thursday, and great chili and potatoes on Friday. I highly recommend people to check it out. Now that the FSU campus is temporarily closed because of the Covid-19 lock down, they serve on a pickup and delivery basic from their place just two and a half blocks north of the NW corner of the FSU campus at 1323 Nylic St.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, good value

VEGETERIAN NOT VEGAN!

I used to love Krishna but they switched from only vegan to vegetarian and vegan items, I had to learn this by accidentally eating cheese since they have failed to advertise or clarify when ordering which products were vegan or not. Their menu even said "gold potatoes" rather than cheesy potatoes. Just make sure to ask before freely ordering thinking all products are vegan.

Most affordable healthy vegan food in town!

This is one of the top 5 lunches in town, for sure. Great, healthy, vegan options. And it’s probably food that you can’t find elsewhere in town.

Pros: Just $5 for plenty of food, Great people, Good location (FSU)

Cons: That they’re not open all the time?

Good Deal

As of January 2018 I have confirmed that the food is now all vegan.

The Krishna lunch is delicious and a great deal.  Daru, who runs the place, is very helpful.  The food is vegetarian, but many entries are vegan, so just ask.  There is always rice, dal, bread, several main entries, salad, dessert, and homemade drinks. The food is based on Indian dishes and is quite delicious.  It is served on FSU’s main campus every week day during the school year, but parking is difficult if you aren’t a student.

Pros: Good Food, Great Price

Cons: No Parking

Fast and Inexpensive Vegan Food

We tried the Krishna lunch for the first time this week. The food was good and nutritious. You can't beat the price at $5. If you eat in you can return for seconds. The food is Indian/Pakistani and has a good balance of herbs and spices. They do not make the food spicy in order to accommodate the typical Western palate, but it has a good flavor. This is definitely a good place to stop in to eat if you are a student or visiting campus during lunch. I will definitely skip the dessert next time and take an extra helping of the salad. All meals when we stopped in were vegan, but from the information I received there are vegetarian dishes, so be sure to inquire.

Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly staff, Delicious food

Cons: On campus and parking is limited

Healthy food on campus

It's hard to believe you can find a place like this at FSU, when most of the food you can find on campus is dominated by chain restaurants. The food at Krishna lunch is simple, and yet fresh, delicious and healthy. And the portions are quite big while the price is kept low. It's by far my favorite place to eat on campus.

Pros: Cheap, Large portions, Fresh, delicious food

Cons: Hard to tell when they are open

A Higher Taste

Simply the best deal on sumptuous, tasty vegetarian and vegan food you will find anywhere. I eat here whenever I can, which has been a considerable number of times over the last eight years. I'm always satisfied, and the price just cannot be beaten.The meals are served in a nice, peaceful, roomy, light location. It's comfortable. The staff are friendly. The cooks are expert. I'll go back time and time again.

Pros: Vegan and lacto-vegetarian, Good-sized portions at low price, Excellent quality and taste

So delicious and inexpensive

The fact that this is located on campus is perfect. I can grab a quick bite in between classes. The food is delicious and very well seasoned. Service is fast and friendly.

Very Good

I haven't been in a long time but I really liked it the few times I went. You go through a line and they dish your food out on to your paper plate so there is a little trouble with your food kind of mixing together. The owner is a nice guy. Parking is very tough though. If you're a vegetarian in Tallahassee, I definately recommend you try it.
