Best buffet ever - Edit
Wonderful and amazing food. Creative and tasty and plenty to select from. A must if you’re in Taipei. Not even New York can beat this feast.

Great vegetarian buffet with lots of vegan options - Edit
I visited the Dayeh Takeshimaya location and enjoyed it very much. While much of the food (my guess - 30-50😖was vegetarian with eggs or dairy, there were a lot of vegan options and I found everything I tasted delicious.

This branch is away from the MRT line, so you gonna take a bus to reach the Takashimaya Departmental Store. It's located at B1. Buffet style, eat all you can. Total NT 757/pax for dinner on weekends.
Read moreI'm fascinated by the number of choices and creative dishes. Their food is fresh and not overly flavoured. There are more dishes for ovo-lacto vegetarians. There are labels for vegans as well. It has dishes from different cuisines, and the majority are freshly cooked and replenished. You will need a Taiwan number to make reservations online. Remember to make reservations before going as it is full house on special dates.

Gorgeous, high-in-styled buffet - Edit
Wonderful service and vegan options; especially the desserts. Allergens are posted via QR code and vegan options labeled in Chinese with green leaf sign.

Perks: has vegan ice cream cones and the second coffee machine makes everything with oat milk!! ⭐️
Room for Improvements:
There are only two kinds of ice creams (sorbet actually) listed as “vegan”, but honey is one of them. So one is labeled incorrectly, meaning only one option is really Vegan. Even oat milk icecream is not vegan.
Dessert options are amazing! But savory options are very limited. Not enough variety and still felt a bit hungry.
The serving tongs need to be kept clean. Many food tongs are cross contaminated, which is unnerving if you have food allergies. 
Pros: One instant espresso machine uses oat milk!, Vegan ice cream cones, The red bean dessert squares- amazing 😍🤩🤤
Cons: Cross contaminated tongs, Need some actual vegan ice creams
