Great buffet - a must visit in Kaohsiung - Edit
I’ve been to both Fruitful Foods and the Marriot Kyo Kyo buffets in Kaohsiung - both are worth visiting. Check out the other review of you are not sure which one to choose. Egg and dairy products are clearly colour-coded. The mushroom truffle pizza was particularly good. There 8 icecream/sorbets of which 3 are vegan. You might want to double check about the desserts - as there’s a sorbet in English that mentions honey, but is labeled vegan. Overall, I’d say the dishes was about 60-70% vegan on my visit.
Read moreI’m impressed they also have a coffee machine with soy milk to make both hot and iced drinks.
Restaurant was nearly full on a weekday lunch slot- so impressed to see the popularity growing in Taiwan.

Delicious buffet with tons of vegan options - Edit
I was walking around Dream Mall, and decided to check out this buffet. I knew it was vegetarian with many vegan options, so I went in to try it out. I was amazed at how many items they had. I would say maybe about 80% of the food was vegan. My plan was to try a small sample of every vegan option they carried, but I got too full and wasn’t able to continue, which is good as that shows they had plenty to choose from. They even had vegan desserts! There were 8 ice cream flavors, 4 of which were vegan, and the cones also were labeled vegan. I didn’t get to try these as I couldn’t fit any more in. It was easy to see the vegan options as they had a green leaf on the label of the dish, and in mandarin it said vegan. Make sure to come hungry so you can try all of the delicious vegan options!

Over 200 vegetarian items -Many vegan - Edit
Located in the largest shopping center in Taiwan, fruitful food serves up tons of options all you can eat buffet style. We were eating with family and we're kind of distracted so we didn't get any photos but we'll go back for another meal. The restaurant is beautiful and the options abundant with styles ranging from Asian to Pizza and pasta and a huge salad bar with with fresh juice and tons of desserts. Overall, for a buffet I'd say the quality was very good but not to the level of a small vegan restaurant that really specializes in a few things. Amazing to see such a big popular vegetarian buffet in the middle of a mall.
