Housemade Quinoa Black Bean Burger

Frothy Monkey gets high marks for offering a tasty housemade quinoa black bean burger patty (no packaged meat substitute like Beyond or Impossible) with lettuce, tomato and vegan mozzarella shreds. You do need to request it on sourdough bread so it’s vegan. They forgot to add the avocado mash on my burger but I didn’t realize it until I was done eating my burger.

Good, friendly service too. Pink haired server happily and carefully checking with the chef to make sure menu items are vegan.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have any vegan desserts or pastries.

Pros: Quinoa Black Bean Burger patty, Friendly, attentive service

Cons: No vegan desserts or pastries , Menu options require minor modifications to be veg

Excellent Option

The Be-hive vegan bowl was a filling and delicious breakfast option on my birthday today. I also loved my lavender oat milk latte. Highly recommend! Thanks for being an LGBTQ -inclusive business.

Coffee, pastries, and wraps

Eclectic old building near Gruhn Guitars. Delicious fresh coffee, vegan wraps, cookies, and chips. Communal seating.

Pros: Several vegan options, Alternate milk for coffee., Reasonable pricing for most items.
