Got the Big Mac style burger as close to McDonald’s as I’ve ever eaten in the past 10 years of not eating meat. We got a meal each, dips were really nice. Frost bites were ok, not as good as burgers and fries.

My visit to frost burgers was amazing, scrumptious food at really cheap prices. Staff helpful and friendly so were the other customers. Had a really great atmosphere and the food was lovely. Will definitely return many more times 🌱💚

Most of these burgers are reminiscent of McDonald’s (meat)burgers I used to get just in way better quality, fresher and without the unnecessary animal protein. I have started eating my way through the menu and so far there is not one burger I didn’t like or even love - my favorite so far is the garlic mayo chicken burger! The milkshakes are also amazing - it is so hard to find some good milkshakes!!! Would highly recommend to get those! Only downside is the limited space for dining in!

Couldn’t wait to visit this place since I heard Monami Frost was opening it! 👍 Totally exceeded expectations! The food is 10/10. The decor is 🔥! Beef free patties are closest I’ve had to meat since becoming vegan 4.5 yrs ago! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend will definitely be making a return visit! 😍😋

Amazing vegan junk food. The beef style burgers taste like the impossible burgers in the states. The sauce and cheese substitute work perfectly. Filthy. The side sauces, fries and Frost bites are also great. Will be a struggle to moderate visits, but will have to for the sake of my heart...

Been here twice and tried both the 'chicken' and 'fish' burgers- amazing. The fries are also delicious. Although a bit pricey I would still recommend their soft serve!

Best burger I have ever eaten, vegan or not! fries were great, and the garlic mayo needs to be sold separately, I need it at home! Went a while ago now, but it was very busy at the time and we did struggle to find a seat, bigger location with more seating would be fabulous!!

Being a massive advocate of vegan food I was desperate for this to be good, but for me it just wasn’t, I’m really sorry. My partner had a slightly different experience though, so I’ll phrase this review from two perspectives.

This was a BIG let down for me. The branding is great, but at this price point I’d really expect individual tables, without sticky sauce on them. As it was, everybody at the restaurant was sharing bench tables (which for me felt very squashed when sharing with strangers), which weren’t being wiped down between customers. To be fair to the staff this was because the place was super busy, they were stuck at the till.
Food:
We tried the meal deal, where you get a good big portion of chips, burger and dips. I thought the dips were great, no complaints there. My chicken burger on the other hand was really disappointing. It was an unpleasantly awkward eating experience, where the sauce made the bun fall apart- I was left sticky, no cutlery. The taste of the patty was OKAY. Not the best, not the worst. For the price I’d hope for maybe a thicker homemade seitan and maybe better seasoning on the crust.
My partner, on the other hand, highly recommends his beef patty. He said it gave him real flashbacks to dirty (in a good way!) burgers he might have had on a night out in the 80s. He gave this a massive thumbs up!
I’m sorry i couldn’t leave more stars, truly, but I want to leave my two cents to hopefully help the owners too. Keep flying the vegan flag! 2 stars from me, 3 stars from partner.

This isn’t a bad review. It’s an average review. You can see 90% of my reviews are overwhelmingly positive so i take great offence at you labelling me “one of life’s complainers”.
I’m disabled, and find rating the burgers here very difficult, and messy- which is reflected in my review. For this reason the setting also isn’t good for me. I’m not offering solutions, I’m leaving a review and thoughts which others in a similar position to me, or with similar anxieties may find helpful. Again, great for you if that’s not the case but don’t go around labelling people as complainers for voicing their measured opinion.
Isn’t the spice of life different opinions? Maybe speak a little more kindly the next time a food review leaves you so enraged. I’m sorry my comments on your favourite burger place seem to have got you heated, but as the review says many pros, just not for me.
Hoping you manage to be more positive about different experiences in future!

I ordered the chicken free burger, fries and a side of nuggets. Everything was delicious, I loved the nuggets! Not flesh like and the batter/breadcrumb on them was so crunchy 🤤 To finish, I had the soft serve which was in👏🏽cred👏🏽ible! Just amazing. It was so nice to have soft serve as us vegans don’t usually have the option do we?! I adored the decor, loved the 80s arcade feel. A very retro style burger joint, overall, a fun experience.

As I can see from your order that you got 2 free sauces that came with your fries and nuggets. If you wished to get extra sauce that would have been extra 50p, yes, as our sauces are housemade everyday from quality ingredients. Ketchup is always free tho. :)

Read moreFor the first time ever, i didn't finish my chips - they had a tang (smell and taste) of ammonia. Horrible.
The burger was too high to eat without cutlery, dripping with some sort of runny, salty liquid, the actual burger patty was tiny, and there were huge chunks of onion and tomato. It was basically a big salty, flavourless, wet, salad sandwich. Suggest visitors take baby wipes and additional napkins. And a nail brush. It's not easy to tear into - i'm literally covered in food. I.e. the experience is poorly designed.
The venue had the ambience of a sixth form common room. And the toilets just weren't great. But i'd take all that in its stride if the food was edible.
I'm leaving this review because i care and because there is no way for the owners to get feedback but this. As there is no table service and you leave after dumping your leftovers into a bin.
Vegan for nearly 30 years, and i've never had a meal so disappointing. And i've never left a bad review either. A day of firsts.

Been 4 times since it’s opened. The burgers are amazing as is everything else on the menu. Staff are always kind and friendly. Food is always perfect. Great value for money. You get loads of food for the price paid so definitely worth it. Such a great atmosphere too. Can’t wait to try the vegan soft serve
