Hey hey we’re the Monkees

Lovely little tap room with clearly labelled vegan beers. I had a pint of maple and pecan stout from Newcastle University’s very own Stu Brew. Named Exam Room Tears, most likely about all those academic rituals we may have taken in the past and worried about at the time that mean pretty much nothing today in the grand scheme of things. Anyway, I digress. The micro pub has a very welcoming interior, adorned with many previous years’ worth of tap labels across the walls and can stickers in the bathrooms. Typical craft crack. Great place, a bit out of the way for me but delighted to have visited.

Clearly labelled vegan pints

A lovely little pub and they clearly state which of their pints are vegan friendly! Knowledgeable and friendly bar staff too
