Best vegan fastfood ever! - Edit
Front food is my go-to whenever I'm in Linz. So far my favourites are the nuggets (with BBQ sauce), Big Cheesy, Pulled Master, and Döner (which is huge).

Great stop for hungry people on the way to Vienna. Nice location, you can seat in or out. Ordered the falafel wrap, spicy hamburger, chicken burger and the sweet potatoes fries. Everything came fast and was nice. The order taker was very nice and helpful with the German-menu. Cool vegan-msgs design. Also various desserts to order

A few weeks ago I visited Linz for a weekend trip, and have eaten at Front Food 2 days in a row. The place has a central location, but it is facing a small street, so you can have a calm meal even if you choose one of the outdoor seats.

There is also a changing special – I would have loved to try the burger that was on offer during my visit, but it cost almost twice as much as other burgers, so I passed…
There is only 1 screen for ordering, and there have been queues going out the door on both days I’ve visited the place. On the first day I have queued in vain: it turns out there’s no option to leave a comment with your order (e.g. if you’d like them to leave out an ingredient), you have to order at the counter if you have such a request. Once the order is placed, it is prepared very quickly. Sadly, I didn’t really like either of the 2 things I’ve tried (Firestarter burger, and the döner in bread), and in case of the burger, I even found the portion too small – I remained hungry… the döner was filling enough, but the bread was literally a slightly flatter haburger bun - I've expected either a pita-style bread, or a flatbread like the one they serve döner in in Germany.
The place claims all their packaging is compostable, which is great, but I was disappointed to see that they open and pour bottled drinks into paper cups – I find this quite controversial, why generate excess waste?
Pros: only fully vegan place in Linz, big selection of burgers, central location
Cons: taste a little bland to me, burgers could be bigger, bottled drinks are opened and served in paper cups

One of the better vegan fast food places - Edit
I really enjoyed this one. Very big selection of food, drinks, sauces which all seemed very freshly made too. It imitates different kinds of animal based food. All of the options are very much mock meat-y so if you are not into that this is probably not the place for you. Otherwise I would encourage everyone to try it.

Der beste Hottdog meines Lebens - Edit
Es ist zwar schon 10 Jahre her gewesen, dass ich meinen letzten Hotdog gegessen habe, aber dieser war mit Abstand der Beste. Das Gebäck war knusprig und weich, die Wurst sehr angenehm, mit Ketchup und einem Senf ganz nach meinem Geschmack sehr gut abgerundet.

Die Terrasse konnte nicht schöner sein, man sitzt in der Altstadt zwischen einem Gebäude der Kunstuniversität Linz und dem Alten Dom. Die Bänke hier sind glaube ich auch von der Kunstuni.
Leider konnte ich keine Fotos machen, da das liebe Personal mein Handy aufgeladen hat 😄 Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Not only was the service amazing, the food was to die for. Met the nicest guy inside who recommended the Doner wrap and that my wife get the Bosna “hotdog”. We got both and opted for their nuggets as our sides. The cashier recommended the curry sauce and wow it blew our minds. Every bite was insane we just kept saying wow wow wow. The inside has so many great vegan prints, 12/10 recommend. Wish we could eat here again before heading back to Vienna 😭
