Vegetarian! Cafe! In the SE suburbs! - Edit
This is my favourite place to eat in the SE suburbs!
Read moreFirst major point in it's favour: this is the only all-veg (unfortunately not all-vegan, but everything can be made vegan) food outlet that I know of this side of the city that has a "normal" vibe. It's not Indian, and it's not a Chinese mock-meat establishment (I love both of those, but not all the time). It's tastefully decorated, and there's no in-your-face veg propaganda. Furthermore, the menu items are similar to what you could expect to find in an ordinary, nice Aussie cafe. In other words, it's the sort of place I can imagine taking omni family members or friends without having to make excuses for it.
Everything I've had here has been delicious, if not exceptionally delicious. Particularly worthy of note have been the honeycomb vanilla milkshake, the hot chocolate (so rich!), the mock duck salad, and anything with their vegan brie.
They also have a wonderful selection of fairtrade jewelry, bags and other knickknack, and the owners are the nicest people.

Wow delicious, fresh, quality food and coffee - Edit
This place is divine. They use delicious fair trade coffee, half pint vegan dairy ice cream and yummy Damona Almond feta. We tried the mock duck and almond feta salad and the quesadilla which we both devoured. Go try it you won't be disappointed.

Worthy of discovery - Edit
Due to a lack of signage, this tiny cafe could easily be overlooked. Some of the menu items are a touch over-priced but the cook has genuine flair and based on the high standard I am keen to sample more offerings on a return visit.

Best Cafe Ever - Edit
This is my new favourite cafe. It has beautiful decor, lovely bubbly staff (especially the owner!) and an amazing menu. I had a vegan pizza and almond milk iced chocolate. Both were amazing, I can't wait to go back and take all my friends!!
