Good Currywurst - Edit
Fritz Mitte is popular for its fries, but here, you can get a vegan Currywurst. I wasn't really a fan of Currywurst, but this one is quite good. So if you are in Jena and to try a typical german Currywurst, go for it.

Vegan Currywurst from Nestlé - Edit
i have eaten the vegan currywurst a few times until a friendly employee let me know that they are made by Nestlé, so I stopped eating them and I'd advise you to do the same. The fries are goated though

Fritz Mitte started with Fries and now opened up another store which is more like a restaurant and where you can order more fast food in high quality, which is served very nicely. Besides fries with different Mayos (2 vegan options) you can have breakfast plates, Currywurst, Burgers and Bowls. For everything they have at least one vegan option. I had a Bowl with Falafel, Hummus and Fries. It was fresh and tasted very good! I tried also the vegan Currywurst and Sweet Potatoe fries, and I also really liked it.

We went for breakfast and dinner and the food is great (had an avocado bread for breakfast and Burger/ currywurst / belgian fries) for dinner.
