Happy there is a place with vegan options and good fries. Nothing wrong foodwise. I give only three stars because not all vegan snacks are available anymore even tho they are still online and on the display. When I accidentally chose these no longer available snacks (how should I know if they are still displayed) the owner was very unpleasant about it. This was not the first time I found him a bit unpleasant. Also has often a very long waiting time. Will no longer return here. Still thumbs up for the vegan options.

Unfortunately, most belge fries are not vegan, since they are fried in animal fat. Luckily, there are places like this one! The fries were delicious, soft and crispy and the sauces were awesome, I will be dreaming of that vegan mayo for years to come.

Unfortunately they were out of vegan Stoofvleessaus which I was really linking forward to. The food overall was fine, the fries were okay, but too greasy for my taste (I know it’s a Frituur).

Great place to get vegan-friendly fries, and they also have different sauces and mock meats which were so good! The portions are generous too. Be prepared to queue, this place is quite popular.

My favorite place in Antwerp for some fries, but I always have a hard time to decide which snacks and sauces to choose. I don’t know any other ‘frituur’ with this many vegan options. Just fantastic.

Read moreWe‘ve been there on a Sunday night so there where a lot of people waiting and quite a bit was sold out already. The fries are worth the price, the other things are a bit overpriced I think (compared to good ol‘ cheap german food prices).
I‘d go there again, but maybe not order the biggest portion of fries this time bc it’s a LOT.
Pros: YUM – great fries , A lot of choices , Nice helpful staff
Cons: Currently only open on weekends , Long-ish waiting , The later it gets, the less is available

Great atmosphere due to the friendly staff.😄There’s a restroom and also a terrace outside, although the view is kinda disappointing (they can’t help that - obviously - but still). They sell delicious snacks and there’s plenty of vegan options. I had the vegan cheese croquette and it was SO GOOD! Portion sizes are big.😄10/10 would recommend.

Read moreAnd we didn't regret it! Chips has alot of vegan options. The owner was happy to serve us as fellow vegans and explained some of the things on the menu. He makes the vegan sauces by himself and makes sure that there is a vegan part in the kitchen (so the vegan stuff isn't fried together with the meats).
The fries were excellent, the sauces tasty, the greenway burger messy & everything else greasy (the good kind of greasy)! But... and it's the only but... It's quite expensive in comparison to other frituren. We paid around 30€ for fries, a burger, some sauce, drinks (water/ice tea) and "vlammekes".
In the end, it's still a "frituur" but a damn good one. And since it's so ingrained in our culture, a good frituur is sacred. So, expensive or not... We'll be back for more.

Belgian fries are normally fried in animal fat. Not these! They were fantastic and the home made vegan sauces, including mayo, were amazing. The the packaging in plastic free and simplistic. The portions were well worth the money. Highly, highly recommend.

Greasy vegan snack food, yes plz - Edit
This place is very close to my house and it's pretty amazing to have my favourite vegan food so nearby. They fry their vegan kroket in a way I never managed to; mine always explode. Here they are crispy, greasy, and perfect. Recently they added a lot of different vegan snacks like nuggets and even the Beyond Burger. They also have a lovely vegan cocktailsauce, tartaarsauce, curry sauce and a vegan home made stoofvlees that could fool your Belgian grandma.

We had fries with veganaise and tartare sauce, vegan mixed snacks, a cheese croquette and a bami croquette. They were all outstanding. Not for everyday, but if you're gonna eat fast food anyway, you might as well do it here and enjoy it! Unfortunately the Flemish stew with jackfruit was sold out, so that gives us an excuse to return.

Omg, I can't imagine that I didn't gave this place a review. I come here every week. The fries are the best I ever had and the vegan burgers are also really great. The best thing of this place still is the tartar sauce. I would die for this one! I really recommend this place! Also? The owners are super nice people! Always into a little chat :)

Also, take a small portion of fries! In other places I take a medium, here the mini puntzak is enough for me :)
I would give a 5 star if I could.

When we came here for the first time it was just after the opening and the fries were very crispy which wasn't nice at all. We ordered with vegan mayo which was bland. Second time we went we ordered fries with ketchup and falafel. The falafel was great, but for the price it was a really small portion. The fries were better this time, crispy outside and soft inside, just how we like it.
