This was exactly what I needed after I got a salad somewhere else lacking a bit of protein. I ordered the vegan curry sausage only. The order process on the digital system was easy and I always like that I can take my time seeing what they offer.

The fries were fresh, chunky, and not over-salted or too oily. Both the vegan sausage and the curry sauce was plain, though. The sauce didn't have much flavor and was more of a sugar delivery substrate.

Although there is now a lot of vegan food on offer in the station hall, something like this was still missing. Perfect if you're short on time but looking for a "proper meal".
Read moreYou can pay contactless at a terminal or at the counter. You are then given a number which is announced when the food is ready. Overall, it's relatively quick (5-10 minutes depending on how busy it is and what you order).
There are different variations of street fries (falafel, chili sin carne, currywurst, guacamole), various salads (falafel, tomato/avocado, coleslaw) and churros (with dark chocolate sauce or pistachio sauce).

In the middle of main train station at the end of tracks. Twelve seats "inside". Automated order system. Once it's cold outside, it's cold inside (in winter). Fries are well prepared, currywurst, cole slaw and vegan dishes, too. There is another Frittenwerk outside across the street that is much larger in case this small one gets overcrowded. Take care of your belongings, this is pickpocket central. #Veganuary

I was at the train station so couldn't resist getting the Tijuana street fries. I do like how when you order you are assigned a random name and that's what is called when your food is ready. The food was prepared quickly and is great, tasty guacamole, vegan sour cream and fresh chopped tomatoes with a wedge of lime. It's surprisingly filling for a quick lunch.

Was craving chili cheese fries, got chili cheese fries. Who know I could find a vegan version of exactly what I was craving at just the train station I had to get lunch at?
Read moreSo many options for little add-ons so I added some falafel. The only thing I would change is the ration of chili to cheese - more chili next time! Service was fast and the ambience was really nice for being a fairly small eatery in the middle of the station hall.
