Great between train bite - Edit
While between trains I stopped by to check out their menu and was impressed to see that they had several vegan options. I went with the currywurst fries and they were excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased and would definitely eat here again if I'm back in the area.

Dirty fries - yum - Edit
It’s the kind of dirty food I like, fries with loads of sauces and topping, was tasty but very rich. It’s in a station and feels like it.

Some Vegan Options Available - Edit
It works like this: you order at the ATM and, as it's super fast food, your order is ready in a few minutes. It's worth it if you want to satisfy your hunger and are in a hurry. A fast food restaurant that's a great way to satisfy your hunger when you're short of time and you're about to miss your train. Some vegan options available. It's also possible to eat on the spot. The vegan chili option had practically no beans.

Fries break - Edit
A few seats available for a stop at the main train station. At some days it might be full, but I got lucky today and got a seat.

Great place, great food - Edit
Had a layover in Köln Hbf and decided to check this place out. Had the Bolofritten and it rocked. Just take into account that your layover is not too short, as the portions are quite big. And if you order a topping - like I did with the jalapeños - you'll get quite a few. Would recommend checking this out during a layover.

Alright taste and size - Edit
I had the Chili Cheese fries.
Read moreThe portion was good, the taste was okay.
I had the regular fries and I feel like they could have been salted more.
The sauces more nondescript but at least the jalapeños were decently hot.

It’s located in the basement of the main station. I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff is and how quick and good the fries are

Great Poutine - Edit
Fastfood place with different poutine dishes, some bowls, and more. There's also vegan churros, and all their sauces are Vegan! Vegan options are clearly labeled as such.
Read moreI had the Bolofriten (9,60€) and it was very good, much better than I had expected. The sauce was delicious. It was also super easy to eat while standing on my extremely full train.
Would visit again!

Very vegan-friendly - Edit
I was impressed with the range of vegan options at Frittenwerk. Even their coleslaw is vegan with vegan mayo and they have several poutines and one tater tots dish as well as plant balls. I chose the chili cheese fries and I really liked the fact that they were standard vegan, they did not come as a "vegan option". I personally found the amount of sauces a bit overwhelming, there was so much sauce that you almost couldn't taste the fries. And I discovered that after so many years of being vegan I somehow don't enjoy foods like this as much as I used to, but that is purely subjective. Fact is that the portion sizes are big and the ingredients seem fresh, the quality of the food is very good. The coleslaw was tasty too. Definitely a valid option at the train station if you feel like your body can handle a ton of fatty food :)

Nice fries - Edit
Went here for short snack. They have several vegan options. I took the Tijuana street fries. They were really nice and had enough sauce given the amount of fries.
