Serves meat, vegan options available. A vintage-styled restaurant and pub opened in the heart of Bielefeld in 2014. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday 2 vegetarian/vegan meals are offered. On Friday one fish and one vegetarian/vegan dish. On Saturday a burger (meat) and one vegetarian/vegan dish. Thursday is tapas day. MAR 2016 REPORTED SHUT.

Cozy

I was recommended this place by my husband's brother for us to get a nice veggie bite to eat, as he lives right around the corner. I think he had only gone on the vegan days, and told us that it was vegan, so I was confused about the fish being served(Friday) and almost ordered it thinking that I'd finally have vegan fish and chips since moving from Montreal. So I should have come here first to Happy Cow as I usually do. Nevertheless, the veggie curry and potato wedges dish was very tasty and not expensive at all(under 10 euros), and came wrapped in newspaper. I would definitely go back, but on the vegan/vegetarian days for more choice and to avoid the burger smell from the meat burgers that was made special for a group that came in.

Pros: veggie option was delicious, inexpensive, cozy atmosphere

Cons: a bit cold, serves meat
