Inspiring food and concept - Edit
Love this place - great staff and food. There's plenty to choose from for vegetarians... the tapas menu items are all substantial and delicious. We ordered 4 items per visit between 2 of us, which was perfect amount for us to share. The wine is also good, which has not been my experience in most places in Cambodia. Really good place to go, including if you are a mixed diet group.
Pros: Yummy, Attentive staff, Fast service

Nice tapas - Edit
Very busy (we had to wait 20 mins for a table) and chi-chi restaurant
Not sure if would say that it was that good for veggies as there are a heap of starters but not that many mains that are veggie centred
that said, the food we ordered was good, if a little westernised: salad with lotus root was fun, but needed a chilli kick; green beans with black butter were awesome; tomato chutney was ok but not that hot at all; taro fries were boring
Pros: clean and cool
Cons: expensive

Great vibe, yummy food - Edit
We ate at Friends several times while in Phnom Penh. The variety of menu options was excellent and always delicious. Green apple lime freeze was a big favourite during these hot days.
The staff, both students and teachers, are excellent and are always happy accommodate patrons needs.
A great restaurant with a great cause, definitely worth your patronage.
Pros: friendly staff, variety, yummy

Beware unless you eat fish - Edit
This is a restaurant with a great cause, but if you're vegetarian and want to support the charity then my advice is to visit the shop or make a donation instead of eating at Friends. The reason is because they consider fish to be vegetarian and include fish sauce in some meal options under the vegetarian menu. Further, they don't necessarily understand the concept of vegan and eliminating certain ingredients so I wouldn't trust anything that came to my table. I'd skip this restaurant and go to one of PP's other amazing veggie finds. [edited by staff, see TOS]
Pros: good cause
Cons: so-called vegetarian items have fish

BE CAREFUL!!! - Edit
I have to say, this restaurant is worth eating at for their cause alone. But, be careful!!! They not only DO NOT fully understand what vegetarianism is. If you're vegan, it's quite possible for them to mess up. They don't speak English well here either and are pretty busy so trying to explain what ingredients you don't want can give you a headache. It's also very expensive. Aside from that, the food is delicious, especially the smoothies and the cause is so amazing. You may have read about the shop they have connected to this restaurant. It promotes recycling and also helps out to their cause for street kids. Maybe I recommend that over the restaurant.
Pros: Delicious food, Great cause, Awesome connected shop
Cons: Dangerous for vegetarians/vegans, Expensive, Not relaxing atmosphere.

Friendly and delicious! - Edit
Awesome little place on a bustling street, I had a hard time finding it at first but just kept asking people for "Friends" and hit the mark.
Scrumptious food and sweet and attentive staff, you can really tell the effort that goes into everything. Just make clear if you are vegan or vegetarian and they'll go out of their way to accommodate you.

Amazing cause, amazing place! - Edit
Run entirely by the Friends charity, this place is a real gem. Staff are a mixture of teachers and students. A blackboard displays who your waiters and chefs are and what module they are currently doing. Food is top notch - very posh and well presented. Veganness is not marked on the menu which can make it difficult - we ended up eating some things we later found out (on our second visit) we shouldn't have.
Pros: Food, Cause, Surroundings
Cons: No vegan markings on menu

Well i don't remeber it to much, as time flyes by.
I had nice comfortable eat in the sundown and liked the place for giving opportunities to the many street kids out there!
