We went here to try their shared dining experience. We ordered 2 rounds of 3 dished plus two desserts. We felt that the food options were good, but overpriced. It felt too basic for the price. Also, the dessert was a bit interesting and therefore not for everyone (e.g. spicy chocolate mousse). Be aware that the dessers are on the brunch menu, which you have to ask for. However, the restaurant felt cozy and the staff was very nice.

Every dish we had was quite strongly flavoured. Which is not an issue but for the Soto soup which definitely deserves info for being spicy. The pita kebaps lacked some more veggies and the sausage was not worth the price. Generally, value for money is bad. The food is tasty though and service was kind. At least it's nice to have a fully vegan place!

Fret was een gezellig plek om te eten. Het was wel een kleine locatie maar dat maakt niet veel uit. Aangezien het concept 'shared dining ' is, zijn sommige porties wat aan de kleine kant voor de prijs die ervoor gevraagd wordt. Toch is het een zeer leuke optie om vegan te eten in Den Bosch!

Small but cozy place in den Bosch. Perfect for brunch! Very friendly staff, not insanely expensive. Had the vegan version of eggs Benedict on a super fluffy brioche bread (perfect to share) and the saucijzenbrood (Dutch puff pastry baked thingie). Also did the fried cauliflower but that was eh meh. But definitely go for the veganized eggz!

This is a cosy and quite small place with friendly staff and very good food. I really enjoyed my Tofutastic, with 3 different types of tofu (smoked, baked and fried) in ginger/soy sauce. The macaron was also amazing!

Btw, the toilet is upstairs, so you need to be able to walk steep stairs to get there.

They had some interesting dishes: beets in 5 ways (To Good To Beetroot), Tofutastic (tofu prepared in 3 ways). The food tasted good. The portions were a little small for me, definitely add fries and/or cauliflower wings (yum) if you’re a bigger eater.

Super tof dat er een nieuwe helemaal vegan plekje is! Het ziet er gezellig uit. De carrotcake was heel lekker maar wel erg duur. €5,90 voor een klein stukje. Verder vond ik de prijzen op de kaart echt heel erg meevallen! Ik zou zeker terugkomen.

Top plantaardige tent!!! - Edit
We hebben er gisteren geluncht en dat was fantastisch. Ik koos voor de tofu-tastic en mijn vriend voor de pita kebab. Beiden erg lekker, maar de verrassing met tofu sprong er echt uit! Een volwaardig lunch gerecht met de lekkerste tofu op drie manieren, veel groeten én alles mega lekker gekruid! Een macaron na maakte alles af (aanrader dus!!)

Lovely new vegan restaurant in Den Bosch! - Edit
I had searched HappyCow yesterday for a vegan restaurant in Den Bosch but found none. Today suddenly a new place popped up: Fret! We had lunch there today, the three of us had the Scrambled Eggz, the Club Fret and the Tempeh op een stokje. All three tasted very good. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, adequate outside seating. We had a bit of a long wait for our lunch was delivered, but we trust that will be sorted soon: they had only just opened a week ago...
