Plant based, not fully vegan - Edit
I got some clarifications on some confusing menu items. I don’t think they know how important it is that vegans absolutely need to know what not to order. We first called and were told to make a note when we order, but when we ordered online, there was no space to indicate that we needed it all to be vegan. So we went in person the next day.
Read moreThere is real chicken egg as an option in the “make your own” bowl, and the Dubai strawberry cup isn’t vegan either. (They use real nonvegan Nutella, the dulce de leche is condensed dairy milk, and it sounded like some other components may not be vegan, because when I asked for confirmation that the white chocolate option was vegan, she changed her tune and suggested that I shouldn’t order it at all. She said they had it as a valentine’s special, but people kept requesting it, so they’re still offering it. I really hope vegans haven’t been unknowingly ordering it.) the fact that they first said everything is vegan and then corrected themselves only when I asked about specific items makes me nervous that there are other nonvegan things that aren’t disclosed. (I mean they were initially going to let me order the Dubai cup, but I kept asking about different components)
Other than this distressing confusion, we got the tuna roll (super tasty! The tuna seems like it might be a sort of TVP product) the palm rice cupcakes (fascinating spongy texture, somewhere between mochi and cupcake with a delightful coconut glaze) the chive rice cakes (also tasty, gooey middles with possibly garlic chives? But they say scallions, so maybe it’s scallion greens. Quite unique, haven’t had anything like it before). Street noodles (yummy. Creamy coconutty peanutty noodles with very lightly cooked tofu, maybe steamed, or perhaps uncooked. The carrots were nice and tender.) And lastly, we got the round noodles with scallops (pretty straightforward and simple, not all that flavorful. The tofu was nicely grilled, lovely fresh bean sprouts, the rice noodles were thick and chewy, the bok choy was sautéed just right. The scallops appeared to just be king oyster mushroom stems. Not very flavorful, and they appeared a bit too undercooked, the texture was too raw and squishy/rubbery for me, but my husband enjoyed them.)
My omnivore father-in law got the banh-mi, and he was disappointed with how little tofurky and tofu there was. The rest of the family got other things that I don’t remember, and were all very pleased with what they got
Pros: Tuna roll is perfect.
Cons: Not transparent about everything that isn’t vegan

So pleased! - Edit
I ventured out of my comfort zone eating here but I am so glad I did! The food was delicious. I ordered the “Pat tai” and a “My ABC” juice and was very pleased with both. The people working here were very kind and helpful. I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m in the area.

This is one of my favorite places to pick up delicious vegan food, all fresh and high quality. My favorite items are all the fresh rolls, the cauliflower wings, lemongrass rice bowl, boba passion fruit tea, and recently the strawberry iced matcha!

It’s great to have a veg restaurant in this area! Great Asian vegan. Variety of fresh rolls, bowls, noodle dishes, and soups. They also have vegan scallops and other creative ideas that you won’t find at other Asian restaurants.

Delicious all - Edit
The food was delicious, the people friendly, and the majority of the menu is 100% vegan. What a relief in a place where most of my queries about vegan options are answered with replies about gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust!! Not posting the photos I took as they don't do the food justice but the "Mamma's Ramen" soup was really wonderful!

I have been coming on cape for years to visit family and struggled to find vegan/vegetarian options in Mashpee. I am so very excited that I happened upon Freshroll tonight and will absolutely be returning (probably before this trip is over)! Loved!

Super refreshing - Edit
We stopped here twice while visiting the Cape. The signature "fresh rolls" in particular are so satisfying: full of fresh veggies and fruit, excellent combination of flavors and textures, and a side of peanut sauce that works perfectly. The green avocado is amazing! Also recommend the lemongrass stiry fry and sweet chili garlic cauliflower wings. If you're vegan this is such a great find in an area where there may not be as many choices. (I know there's other vegan spots on the Cape but we were here at an off time so when everywhere else was closed Freshroll was here for us!)

So many options-all veggie! - Edit
Everything that we ate was delicious! For 3 people, we had sushi rolls: avocado, sweet potato, and veggie; the original fresh rice paper roll; ramen soup; coconut angel hair noodle bowl; and lemongrass stir fry. There were so many options on the menu that it was difficult to choose. Everything is vegetarian and can be made vegan. It is mostly a take out place - they only have a few tables inside and 2 tables outside. And they only have disposable plates, silverware, cups, etc. The only recommendation that I would have would be to have reusables for those who want to dine-in but I understand that they might not have the space in the kitchen to wash dishes, etc. At least there wasn't any styrofoam and most of the items came in cardboard with a wax/plastic coating. It is a bit pricey but that is the cape for you!

Cons: No reusable plates, silverware, cups, etc, Expensive but it is cape cod after all

Best vegan meal on the Cape - Edit
This was a bit of a detour off our drive to the upper Cape, but well, well worth it! Amazing menu! Everything was delicious. Wide variety of plant based Cambodian dishes where everything can be made vegan. Very friendly and helpful owners. We loved what we ordered so much that we immediately ordered more meals for the road. Very unique and creative drink and dessert menu too! Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! - Edit
We went 2x during our Cape trip last week. Simply outstanding, fresh ingredients, and satisfying. The lemongrass tofu was our favorite but everything was yummy. We had the cauliflower wings, fresh roll with tofu, the Khmer noodles, spicy noodles (VERY SPICY), a sandwich. Really great - wish they had a location closer to Boston. Only negative is slightly pricey but that's the cape for you.

A nice surprise - Edit
Visiting Cape Cod with my husband. We live in a very vegan friendly city, so it was a bit of surprise at the lack of vegan food up here. We were so happy to find freshroll! We ordered a bunch of food to share...the eggrolls, avocado roll, korean bbq cauliflower and the teriyaki stir fry. Everything was very good, but the eggrolls were my favorite. I dont eat sushi, but my husband said the avocado roll was delicious.

Food was great. We got the Original Fresh Roll, Khmer Noodles, and Coconut Angel Noodles Bowl. Yum. I think I’d have liked more sauce/coconut on the noodles. And the Khmer Noodles were a little heavy. All in all would eat here again.

Delicious! - Edit
So far I’ve been so impressed by my meals! (Take advantage of online ordering!) Not obsessed with the vegan scallops, but the hometown sandwich was good. The Khmer noodles w/ tofu is delicious, but the Cauliflower is to DIE FOR. Both General Tao’s & Korean BBQ. Would come just for that alone! Whole menu is vegetarian, and everything can be made vegan.

Delightful! - Edit
I got to know freshroll healthy street food because they are a fixture of several Cape Cod farmers markets, and I'm so excited to see them open their first storefront. Even though we have to do curbside pickup right now because of Covid-19, it's exciting to see this small business expand to its first storefront.
