Fresh!

Freshii is an institution in Canada. They have many restaurants, so there's always something healthy close by. Even in food deserts like Niagara Falls, Freshii offers actual food (and not borderline toxics like BBQ, spare rib or pizza like all other restaurants do).

The "classic green smoothie" is very healthy, very classic and very tasteless. Since there's no milk (not cow or plant) and no sugar, the taste is mild and uninviting. Yet, it's healthy and half an hour later your body will thank you.

Tip for outsiders: what the Canadians call a "small" portion, is regarded as "extra large" in Europe and Japan.

Pros: always there, fresh, healthy food

Cons: can be pricy (depending on location)

Decent quick meal!

Generally no complaints for such a quick and easy meal. With tofu as a protein option, I’m confident that it’s served straight out of the container. Would love some seasoning or something on it, but it’s cost effective and quite a filling portion.

Good options, super quick

Personal favourites:
- Buddha satay bowl (skip the crispy wantons if you’re gluten-intolerant)
- Pangoa bowl (no cheese if you’re vegan; sauce is NOT gluten-free)
- Energii bites (NOT vegan)

Pros: Quick, Cheap, Filling
