Quick lunch

Burrito was quite filling, fresh ingredients, cheap. Nice place for a quick lunch!

Tasty lunch time option

Love this concept and it remains true to its word. Everything tastes fresh & healthy. I always get a wrap and find it fulfilling and energizing. I wish they would consider going vegan, as a good chicken alternative would be goid and likely not noticeable. Definitely comparable in price point to fast foods.

Pros: Fresh, Tasty , Good variety

Cons: Wish it was vegan , Staff not overly friendly , Some options can be $$$$

Good for healthy takeout

I've been here twice. First time I got a build-your-own salad, the second time a kale smoothie. Gotta say, the smoothie was awful. Kale and frozen yogurt just aren't a good combo...and worse, they either didn't blend it enough or their blender sucks...I had to chew the entire smoothie because it had so many chunks of unblended kale. Truly awful. The salad was good though, and the bowls look good too. I'd definitely go back, just not for a smoothie.

Pros: Build your own salad, Healthy options

Cons: Smoothies need work

Best spot for lunch in downtown Ottawa

This is still my favourite spot for lunch in downtown Ottawa. There is a huge line up every lunch hour- but the line moves quickly. You are given a sheet to fill out and pick either a wrap, brown rice, noodles, salad, soup or their new option of quinoa. You then check all the toppings you want- half are free, such as roasted beets, edamame, carrots, chickpeas, broccoli, corn, and some are premium and cost more, such as avocado, kale or grilled tofu.. The list of toppings is extensive. Then you pick your dressing. My favourite is the spicy peanut. They also have suggested combinations if you don't want to invent your own. The price is usually $7-9 depending on how many premium toppings you want. The place is bright, clean and also has outdoor seating. It is a chain and does have some meat options.
There are other downtown places with a similar concept such as the Green Rebel but this place is the most affordable, the fastest and has the most choices.
