Vegan breakfast - Edit
We stopped in for a late breakfast on our way out of town. I appreciate that they had warm vegan options as most places in the area only have smoothies or bowls as a vegan option. I went with the tofu scramble with the addition of another vegetable and vegan cheese with a side of hashbrowns. We got in about 9:30am and the staff was very busy with a few larger families. After we finally ordered we ended up having to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food. The scramble was a bit grease (leaving grease on the table by the time I was done) and was a bit under salted though I could add salt from the table. The hashbrowns were cooked through but not crisp as they were obviously rushed to get cooked. If I was to go back I’d do a bagel to bowl instead.

Freshfit had the best vegan scrambled tofu dish we have ever eaten, loaded with veggies, cheese and hash browns on the side. We also tried the dinner plate size vegan GF blueberry pancake - also awesome.

Great place for fresh healthy food - Edit
Tons! Of vegan options especially for breakfast they’ve got the only vegan breakfast options (that I know of) on the beach. My go to is getting a tofu scramble with veggies add vegan cheese and a side of toast or potatoes. The vegan pancakes are really good too they have a lot of different mix ins and flavors. I think they are the only place on the obx that has vegan pancakes. Juices and smoothies tasty and full of fruit I’ve tried several flavors and the “refreshing” smoothie and “ph balance” juices are my favorite. For lunch I usually get the chickpea wrap and it’s always tasty!

I was excited to come here because they have so many vegan options. I was passing through and ordered to go. I asked for a black bean burger, she said “a black bean burger?” I said “yes”. Then I asked if the coleslaw was vegan and she said yes so I picked that as a side. Then she read my order back and said “a turkey burger” I said “no, a black bean burger” she said “oh right, a black bean burger”. When my food was ready she said “turkey burger” again. I said “I ordered a black bean burger” she said “yeah that’s what I meant to say”. I got in the car and my friend started leaving, I decided to look at it, and it was a Turkey burger. I decided to give up and not ever go back after that.

The vegan options were awesome! Menu was clearly marked. Food was amazing. The only downside was the waitress was slow (there was only one other person there) and we had to pay up-front for our food, which was odd. Otherwise it was a great place.

Great food! Ordered the tofu scramble and the vegan blueberry pancake SO GOOD! Also got a latte with coconut milk. Great place for vegans and non vegans alike. Tables outside by the water. Cute interior with big windows. Food is also affordable! Will be back many times over.

Can’t give 5 stars but I would do - Edit
Because it’s not completely vegan the app doesn’t allow me to give 5 stars. The scramble tofu, the breakfast potato’s are just perfect. The vegan pancake too. They put a lot of effort to please vegan, they deserve 5 stars for that. Thank you guys for being open minded, it’s nice to have you in a place where vegan food is rare.

I was concerned the outbanks wouldn’t have great vegan options- but I was wrong! Their vegan pancakes are delicious ( my husband and I tried their espresso and blueberry pancakes). They also had coffee with vegan milk options! The items were easily labeled as vegan on their menu. The only recommendation I would have for them is to list if their flavor shots are vegan as the staff there didn’t know the answer to that as well.

Always so excited to find a place with vegan breakfast options! We got the vegan blueberry pancakes, tofu scramble with spinach, peppers, and mushrooms, hash browns, and a green magic smoothie. Everything was delicious! They have lots of outside seating right on the bay (which we loved so much we forgot to take photos of the food). They can also accommodate for food allergies!

I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I do wish there were more options but from the options available it was good. Not sure with the location I'd drive back and forth for the limited menu of vegan items but definitely worth the stop on the way to rentals.

Although not entirely vegan, I would absolutely give this place 5 stars. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Menu is clearly marked and the staff is attentive and knows the menu well to answer any questions. This is place is a must.

We’ve been here a few times for the juices & they’re great! They put ice cubes in them, which is a little strange. We had the tofu scramble and hashbrowns for the first time today - not amazing, but I’ve had some real nasty tofu scramble in my day and this was totally acceptable! Staff are ALWAYS friendly, knows what is and isn’t vegan, & will accommodate dietary restrictions. I’m just so happy to find fresh juice!! It’s always exactly what my body needs after a full day of sun and getting my ass kicked by the ocean. Cashier was wearing a mask.
