Don't skip this place in KL if you want to boost your vitamin B levels. Try the best Spirulina!

Walid is really knowledgeable and I've learned a lot on his Spirulina farm. For example, most Spirulina tablets and powders from the shops involve a dehydration process at around 300 degrees Celcius, which kills all the enzymes and certain essential vitamins, making the product way less nutritious than in it's pure form. Quality of the water really matters as well. Behind the farm is a waterfall with pristine spring water. If you're into hiking and nature, then visiting the farm is another reason!

At the farm you can buy both fresh Spirulina as well as in dehydrated form.
Fresh Spirulina is the purest form. However, Fresh Spirulina deteriorates quicker if not handled according to the instructions. It must stay in the fridge all the time and consumed within 10 days.
The dry spirulina is dehydrated at around 40 degrees Celsius for around 20 hours so all the enzymes, vitamins and minerals stay alive. And because of its form it can be stored longer.

Huge respect for Walid. I think Kuala Lumpur is privileged to have such businesses around. We need more small scale farms that focus on quality and healthy community rather than corporations/big pharma that are aiming to maximize profit and production at the cost of debasement of the product.

Pros: Beautiful farm 10 minutes outside the side, Free farm tour, Delivery available

Cons: Not accessible by public transport, but that's oke
