Amazing food! - Edit

Edited - apparently they offer non-vegan cheese here, so be sure to ask your waiter for clarification!

First off, they have an English menu and printed it with prices but please note that these are NOT the prices you will be charged with! Currency exchange rate change constantly, so they simply printed the menu at a time when the exchange was a certain value. You will be charged the MEX rates.

Secondly, we had an opportunity to dine here when one of the owners was there and had a great conversation. They are very committed to vegan values and offering a lot of healthy, unique options.

And most importantly, the food was amazing! We've eaten here on several occasions and can attest to how great their vegan food is. Also, they offer plenty (if not most) gluten-free options. You will find everything on the menu from fried foods to healthy whole foods. They allow you to add anything you would like to your order and have a LOT of options, a lot. Their green drinks and alcoholic drinks are all very good. They also helped refab the building they are located in and care deeply about their community. Highly recommend eating here!

they serve cheese. but amazing burger - Edit

I'll give them 3 stars because they serve cheese in a few of their dishes...therefore supporting the sick and cruel dairy industry. I'll update my review to 4 stars once they get rid of the cheese completely. I highly doubt getting rid of cheese will affect their current that's even more frustrating. it's completely unnecessary.

Other than that it is 'vegan'.... I've had the barbecue burger. It was amazing.... the pattie was made of quinoa I think... it was really good. Great texture and flavor...the amazing breaded and fried onion rings added crispiness to the burger which takes it to a whole other level... great quality bread... amazing flavorful barbecue sauce.

Also tried orange cookie which was good.

Hot cakes: awful...I think they use some wholesome wheat flour... uncooked in some spots...gummy in some spots, breadlike in some spots... just bad texture overall IMO
Prices are appropriate for ambience and quality of food. It's actually cheaper than los loosers(overpriced) and vegan inc

Ask for Mexican menu. The English menu has much higher prices ( in dollars).

Example the barbecue burger is 12$ (200 pesos) on the English menu. But 120 pesos on the Mexican menu. I'm not sure what's up with that. Maybe I'm missing something?

Great place though and I will come back several times to try the entire menu.

rancidl 20 Sep 2017 - Are you sure it's real cheese? They have vegan cheese all over their menu, did you ask them? Pretty sure everything here is vegan entirely.

hakunapatata 12 Oct 2017 - No, it's true. They do serve non vegan cheese in some dishes even though they have a selection of vegan ones. I've asked them about that and they've said is to give non-vegans a choice.

Nice but not entirely vegan - Edit

The restaurant is in a very pretty building and the service is flawless.
They have a promising looking breakfast menu that they serve on weekends, but I haven't tried it yet so I don't have an opinion on that.

Almost the entirety of their menu is vegan, and some of it is delicious (like their poutine, so tasty!) but as another review points out, they do serve non-vegan cheese in some of their dishes, according to them, to give vegetarians and omnivores more alternatives.
At least they state it out clearly, I suppose.

Pros: Great, friendly service

Cons: They offer dairy cheese in some dishes
