Vegan options are not vegan!

This airport restaurant has a “vegan” pizza on their menu. But when I inquired further, the cheese on the pizza is NOT vegan and even the crust has eggs in it. Also, when I ordered a salad (without cheese), the person making the salad didn’t know what was on it so I had to go over to the menu and read the ingredients to him. Very expensive, very poor quality, and no real vegan options! I ended up with a $20 small bowl of lettuce, peppers, onions, and chickpeas. Sadly, the San Juan airport didn’t seem to be great for vegans (despite San Juan being a very vegan friendly city).

Veggie Pizza

The “Veggie Pizza” can easily be made vegan by ordering it with no cheese. You can load it up with several veggie toppings, which you choose, and it’s actually pretty good!

Pros: Only veganized option in sight!, Not bad, Only veganized option in sight!

Cons: Only one option (pizza w no cheese)

Quick food, not much else at the airport

Didn’t bat an eye when I ask for the pizza with no cheese. Could pick my toppings myself. Crust was gluten free. Food was passable. Filled me up any way.

Pros: Convenient, A few vegan options, Fast

Cons: Need more options

Did you ask for info on ingredients (or brand) of the feta cheese? A few people's reviews on Google are saying the cheese is non-vegan. And the employees have no idea if the cheese is plant-based (vegan) cheese.

We as Vegans need to make sure this is truly a vegan option, cause if we dont make sure, mother 🐄cows will pay the price and be murdered for it at the end of their milk🥛 production.
