It's rare to find vegan tamales, and these folks do it so, so well! Both the fajita veggies and sweet potato mole are delicious! I often buy extras to make at home too :)

Pretty good tamale - Edit
The menu is clearly labeled, and there were a couple vegan tamales and I also saw vegan bbq mushroom tacos. I tried the fajita veggies tamale a la carta with spicy roja sauce. It comes with crema so I asked for it without. The tamale was pretty good and pretty big too. It was filled with corn, black beans and peppers and the spicy roja sauce was also really tasty. They don’t have a ton of vegan options though so I probably won’t come here too often. #Veganuary

We had the sweet potato and Fajita veggies tamales, with the spicy salsa. The fajita veggies one was really good, but a single tamale is only half a meal, and it's difficult to eat 2 tamales at a time given how dense the corn is. Needs be paired with food from somewhere else

We had the veggie fajita and sweet potato tamales with rice and beans. It was all very good - and the rice and beans was actually a surprising standout. Very generous portions! Fun to get as takeout and eat at nearby Ravenna Park.

Props for even having a vegan option for sure! But it's a little underwhelming. The bean filling is a little bland, and the proportion of filling to the corn dough part is too low.
