Serves meat, vegan options available. Large food court located inside a former factory building. Various food stands offer marked vegan pizza, momos, falafel, mezze, burgers and bowls. Additional food trucks are sometimes present. If coming from Aabachstrasse use the left entrance, the other one is for the Freiruum event hall. Open Mon-Fri 11:30am-2:00pm, Thu-Fri 6:00pm-10:00pm, Sat 11:30am-10:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Read moreThe landscape they built inside the former factory hall is really something else - it's an experience of its own. However do try the food as well, since the selection is huge. We've lots of different things and were never disappointed: Sushi (though the inari wasn't the best), very nice mezze, bowl (good, not great) and well done momos.
If you haven't been there in a while, check their new options: Planted crêpes, mexican food and ramen.

Variety of vegan options - Edit
I would recommend to try the vegan Phad Thai, the vegan Mexican tacos and especially the vegan Momos from the Tenz stand. If you like it spicy they also have a really good spicy sauce that you can also buy to take home.

you have to go there if you visit Zug. Every stand has a vegan options. I really recommend the vegan pad thai.

No cash payments accepted. Most food stalls have pre-prepared and pre-cooked food, as no proper kitchen on site. The view once that seem to have a kitchen only offer a tiny limited choice of mostly carb-based dishes. Missing plant based sugar and saltfree food there.

Freiruum has many options to eat great vegan food. There are Mexican Tacos, Greek food, Japanese Miso, bowls, pizza and a lot more. Vegan options are often labelled and plenty. Water is free and there is good atmosphere overall. It gets crowded sometimes and is pricy.

Lot of vegan and vegetarian options, I took the vegan tacos 🌮 which were very tasty, be careful with the spicy sauces...😉 there is a enogh space to relax and chill. Definitely recommended👍🏼

... otherwise just okay. Food quality at some restaurants is just ok. Sometimes the hall is open, sometimes not. And some restaurants sometimes have vegan / vegetarian options, sometimes not.
