Lots of Plant Based Options - Edit
The place is somewhat tough to find because its in a area full of commercial companies. When you arrive you pick out what you want and take it to the cashier and pay for it. Everything is cold so you will have to use the microwave on sight to warm up the food.
Read morePros: Lots of vegan options, Free samples, Friendly
Cons: You have to microwave the food or eat it cold., Somewhat hard to find

Finally, A Place Where I Could Eat Anything! - Edit
Great little store offering pre-packaged plant-based meals. Fresh or frozen options available. Love getting their ‘mac n cheese’ and ‘queso,’ but they also have soups, salads, pastas and plenty of other options. The chocolate chip pancakes and baked goods really hit the spot.

thankful - Edit
I discovered their queso while my daughter was in the hospital having surgery. Fred and Ricky’s products were in the cafeteria. The queso was amazing — as was the cookie! So thankful to find tasty vegan options in such a setting!

Love!! - Edit
I was worried traveling to the land of BBQ. But a few miles from the rental car place... we found a beacon of light!! Totally loved Fred and Ricky's Plant Delicious Foods!! Everything was absolutely delicious!! We had the Mushroom Stroganoff and the Southwestern Adobo Chili. Clean cooking and you can taste every ingredient. They made us so happy!!

Amazing Food!!!!! - Edit
Lots of bakery items and other to-go meals. First all vegan place I've been to and I was blown away. Staff is friendly, I got some samples, and I would highly recommend the BBQ jackfruit burger and Santa Fe Enchiladas!

Food just like we make it at home - Edit
We were so excited to learn that a new restaurant in Creve Coeur was exclusively making food like we do at home, based on the Forks over Knives style of low-oil plant-based cooking. So far we have tried and thoroughly enjoyed the Plantasagna, Sunday Supper, Fred Beans and Rice and 4-Bean Baked Beans. All reheat very well. The Enchiladas were also quite good, but reheating left them a bit dry.

Nice Addition to the STL/Creve Coeur Area - Edit
I live very close to Fred and Ricky's and am quite glad it opened. It's located in a rather nondescript strip mall in an area of town that does not have any establishments that cater to vegetarians.
Read moreI am giving it 4 stars because it is all vegan and therefore has a ton of options for vegans. It is also healthy, being nearly entirely oil free. I think it will be a nice option for days when I have nothing to take to work for lunch the next day, or maybe a busy evening. That being said, the food has definitely not blown me away, and it is a little expensive for what it is ($8 for a single serving of lentil soup for instance). The ginger molasses cookies and the pancakes are pretty good, but the entrees I have tried over the past couple weeks (Plantsagna, Mushroom and Barley Risotto, and Lentil Soup) are only okay.
Pros: All vegan, Healthy, Offers tasty wheat pancakes
Cons: Food is a little bland, Bit pricey for the style of food/portion
