We had a lovely meal here. You have a choice of a 3, 4 or 5 course meal. We stuck to 3 courses and that was plenty! The food was delicious and the waiting staff very friendly. Not a cheap meal by any means but very nice evening out.

Having dinner at FREA was one of my best dining experiences ever. The food looked and tasted incredible. The staff was knowledgable, chill and professional. It was expensive but well worth it.

Ein wirklich ganz besonderes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Das gesamte Personal war überdurchschnittlich engagiert und freundlich und die 4 Gänge, die wir im Laufe des Abends serviert bekommen haben, waren einfach bombastisch!!! Unbedingt rechtzeitig reservieren, denn das FREA ist eigentlich jeden Abend ausgebucht.

Read moreFor example, they put a raw carrot on the plate as one of the center pieces. The combinations of the courses were neither interesting nor a fit. The seasoning needs improvement.
When we handed in the critic, the male server came back and told us how we were wrong. In general, he had a condescending attitude.
For this price range, I expected more. I would compare it to a normal vegan restaurant, that is expensive, but it has nothing to do with fine dining.
Pros: Nice decoration

We had reserved an outside place, but due to weather issues this could easily be changed to indoor seating. The staff was friendly and well organized. There was always fresh water on the table.

Der Service war ebenfalls während des ganzen Abends hervorragend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Frea has become one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. The staff is always very friendly, the interior is nice, the food is delicious (it’s not just vegan, but healthy plant-based cuisine) and above all it’s zero waste!

This place is incredible. Local, organic, seasonal, no-waste, vegan, craft beers and natural wines. I was brought here as a surprise by my partner for my birthday not knowing what to expect and I was just simply amazed. The food is haute cuisine and was outstanding. The natural red wine from the Palatinate was out of this world. Do not miss this place!

Very fine dinning in a cosy restaurant. The dishes were all fragrant and each ingredient complement the other very elegantly. The value of the restaurant are also very nice as the place is Zero Waste and has its own compost. We very much enjoyed ourselves and only regretted not staying long enough in Berlin to come back

We reserved a table here for my birthday and Frea had been on my list for a long time. It didn't disappoint: The food was great (just a bit too salty for me), service was great and I was able to buy their AMAZING sourdough bread to take home at the end. Highly recommend to eat at Frea - the whole concept is so inspiring.
