Much needed find - violife cheese and vegan ham options. Had a pizza and a gnocchi dish with mushrooms and vegan bechamel sauce. Both good.

I loved that they had vegan cheese & different varieties of meals, but it would’ve been better if there were more authentic Italian vegan options, rather than burgers etc. can veganize any pizza on the menu which is great! And I must give thanks for it being one of the only vegan cheese places in Sorrento (it would seem from my research!)

Odd topping combinations for an American, but really nice! - Edit
We had the two vegan pizzas (clearly labeled on the menu, the staff knows what vegan is) and they were great. Neapolitan pizza is definitely not a New York slice or Chicago deep dish or pizza from back home. Know what you're getting and you won't be disappointed. One pizza was a very large serving for one person. Three people could eat 2 pizzas and feel good enough to walk around or get gelato afterwards.

Favourite place in Sorrento - Edit
We weren’t feeling our best on our first visit but returned a couple of days later. The owner is very welcoming and the menus had multiple options. I ended up having pizza but veganised one of the vegetarian pizzas. It was delicious and very good value for money I though. A couple of nights later we went back and I had the gnocchi and the chocolate vegan cheesecake. OMG, it was so light and fluffy and took me back to my childhood. We’ll probably go here again before we leave. Fantastic

While coming to Italy as a vegan isn't the easiest, this is a great spot where you can have vegan cheese on your pizzas plus some great vegan options (actually has a separate section on the menu!).

Frankie's was a delight. Great atmosphere, nice selection of vegan options for main meals and for desserts as well as friendly and accommodating staff. Frankie himself was there and often checked in to see how we were getting on. The personal touch along with tasty food, made for a great lunch and dinner a few days later.

This was one of very few places I came across with clearly labelled vegan options. They have vegan cheese (violife), ham, several pizza/pasta dishes and a couple of dessert options (cheesecake, not just sorbet!). I was really pleased to find a vegan version of gnocchi alla sorrentina, very tasty and good to feel I've tried the local speciality. Staff have an excellent understanding of veganism and were very friendly.

All pizzas can be changed to vegan, one of the best pizzas ive ever had, has one of the best hosts in Sorrento, Frankie! We went back most evenings even just to buy a drink and say hi to Frankie.

There is a verity of great vegan options. We ate Gnocchi and Penne Arrabiata and both were very tasty, the Penne Arrabiata were not even on the menu. The white wine was excellent and we loved the vegan cheesecake. Frankie is also a perfect host.

Read moreWe had pizza and pasta and the large vegan Greek salad (which was amazing! No holding back on the vegan feta). Also the eggplant parmigiana and a specially made tomato pasta with beyond sausage which were both delicious. Authentic feeling Italian food made vegan, they even have vegan dessert which was also a must try.
100% recommend this place, they do vegan well and owner is bilingual Italian and English. Wish we had more time in Sorrento so we could try more 🤤

Amazing food!!!! We ate here 3 times in our 1 week stay and loved every single meal! 😍 They have vegan cheese, sausage, gnocchi, pizza, bolognase, cheesecake and sooooo many other lush vegan options! The owners are so friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed eating here!! 10/10, thank you!!! ❤️

We stayed at frankies twice and had a great time on both nights! The owner (frankie) is awesome! he is helpful speaks perfekt english and gives advice how to veganize your choice of pizza or other things :)

Best vegan pizza in the area - Edit
This was seriously one of the best vegan pizzas I‘ve ever eaten! It has this cool napoletan taste and the cheese is delicious. You can also create your pizza yourself and the friendly staff helps you. They all are very nice and speak english. The price was less than I expected for the quality.
