Fantastic selection of Vegan dishes - Edit
I visited Frankies as I heard they dud vegan options. I was not expecting the amount of choice. Pizza, pasta, risotto and desserts too. The food was excellent. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and attentive. They made me feel so welcome as a solo diner. An absolute must visit for vegan dining. Can't give five stars as it's not fully vegan but I would if I could.

Multiple vegan options in Sorrento - Edit
The restaurant offers multiple vegan choices of antipasti, pizza, pasta, desserts, and is very acommodating to veganize other menu items. The vegan mozzarella is good and stretchy but needs more salt. The crust is amazingly good!

Love this place! - Edit
Awesome place especially if you get to sit upstairs in the rooftop garden area.
Read moreFew vegan options which is so good!
Vegan pizzas, and sides and I think they had pasta as well (can’t remember).
Some things aren’t labelled vegan like the broccoli or potatoes but you can ask to make sure.
Almost any pizzas can really be made vegan with the vegan ham and cheese they have too which is cool.
Pros: Not bad price, Few vegan options with ability to customise, Cute place and nice staff

My husband got a non vegan pizza which he liked and we got fried pizza marinara and gnocchi for me. PERFETTO for vegans and non vegans alike!

Best vegan Pizza in Sorrento - by far - Edit
I ordered the mother of dragons pizza and the vegan lemon cheese cake. The pizza could have been a bit more spicy, but they provided both chili flakes and a high quality chili oil. The cheese cake was really good, but the added batter bites were unfortunately a bit too burned for my taste.

Lots of options - Edit
This place had heaps of options which was great, my partner had the gnocchi which I tried and was delicious however I had the vegan panini and it was either an impossible or beyond meat patty inside, unfortunately it wasn't cooked through at all and almost completely raw. It didn't taste good. I took the whole patty out after eating a few bites. Maybe I just selected wrong as the pizzas looked incredible and the gnocchi was great!

So many vegan options - Edit
There was a line outside with lots of small parties or takeaway orders but a table of 4 was available so we managed to skip the queue. Nice, modern setting but wear insect repellent as there were a few mosquitoes at our table near the door.

not worth the wait - Edit
lotssss and lots of vegan options. I was not impressed by the quality of the food considering I have had amazing food in Italy so far. I got the vegan lasagna and a tortelini dish. the lasagna was almost cold and there was very little eggplant in it. The tortelini was quite bland. Usually I wouldn’t be giving this kind of review but considering it has such a high rating, I thought I’d share another opinion.

Good vegan options, but pricey - Edit
The tortellini alla daria and the wild berry cheesecake were amazing. The tortellini came with a porcini mushroom sauce that was really good. Their cheesecake is by far the best vegan cheesecake I've ever had. However, it took a while to get the food and it was pricey for the portion size.

Not amazing quality - Edit
First up.... appearances are deceptive. Back home in the UK I would walk straight past this place thinking it was the kind of place to go at 2am after a night out. But don't be put off by this. It's a good little find for anyone wanting vegan food.
Read moreMenu: Loads of variety and everything is really clearly labelled as to whether it's vegan, vegetarian, or contains allergens. One of the clearest and best laid out menus for this throughout my trip to Naples and Sorrento.
You will literally be spoilt for choice here. Starters, sides, 1st course, second course and desert all have great options.
Food quality. I opted for the vegan ravioli (ravioli di frankie). On first glance it didn't look like enough but once I got down to it, it was a perfect amount. Taste wise, I found it lacking and felt the ratio of pasta to filling was waaay out.
My wife opted for a pizza and said she was disappointed with the quality... too much oil drizzled on top making it seem greasy and lacking the flavour the menu promised... she was hoping for something with quite a kick but it just didn't deliver on that front.
Let's get onto desert. There are 4 great vegan options: two chocolate, one lemon and one Berry.
I went for the lemon sponge and can't fault it. Lemong sponge coated in a soft lemon vegan cream. Very tasty and just the right balance of sweet v tangy.
Service. It gets busy here but despite this, Service seemed to keep up with demand. Take in your stride the fact that you get some time to enjoy the company you are with and you'll be just fine here. Go when you are on a tight timetable and you might find it stressful. That said, the staff do an amazing job.
Staff. Excellent. Very knowledgeable about their products and about dietary needs. No sense of judgement for wanting vegan alternatives and no language barrier issues to getting exactly what you want.
Overall this was good and the food was OK too.
If you want lots of choice this is the place in Sorrento to go.

Great spot in Sorrento - Edit
Was looking forward to trying Frankie's and wasn't disappointed. It can be very busy so best check it out before going. Decent selection of options, I went for the gnocchi which was really nice. Great place to dine with omnivore family and friends. It's nice to get something that's traditionally Italian but with vegan cheese. Was speaking to Frankie too, was nice to put a face to the name and hoping even more vegan items can ad added in the future.

Vegan - worth the wait!! - Edit
We got lucky and manage to get a table straight away but the night before we saw a massive queue to get in. A lot of places in the area had really long queues but they are worth the wait. They have a set vegan menu but you can add vegan ham to anything and also change to vegan cheese so the full menu can be veganised. The portion sizes are big and reasonably priced.

Scrumptious - Edit
Came here on a rainy night and was greeted by a very friendly and happy team. There is an extensive separate vegan menu: you’ll not have to ask for any adaptations. Many choices of pastas, salads and pizzas. Included in some pizzas are option of vegan cheese and vegan ‘meats’. Drinks were very reasonably priced. I had the ‘Buckingham Palace’ pizza which was delicious (and very large). Because I was able to take leftovers home (box provided, no problems) I was able to try the vegan cheesecake with berries: delicious!!! Creamy and tastes like a non vegan chilled cheesecake. Thanks to your team; you know how to make vegans feel welcome.

Lots of choice but not all good - Edit
You are not short of vegan options here, however I did not enjoy the vegan cheese. It was almost like marshmallows somehow. I would have liked to order desert but the prices listed for the vegan desserts were more than the regular ones even though they are the same thing, I was pretty put off by this. I would recommend for the choice but wouldn’t order the vegan cheese.

Yummy - Edit
I absolutely loved this spot once I browsed the menu and my pizza was delivered. I have found the place in Sorrento that has made all of my vegan dreams come true. I ordered the Il Sombrero pizza in the shape of a heart. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I was not a fan of the pizza with the purple potatoes spread on it and the pesto pasta was not tasty at all. I took one bite and I never took another bite. We returned with a local and she had the carbonara pasta (not vegan) and she had the same complaint as I did, too salty and her words were that “it’s disgusting”. The vegan cheesecake with berries was very good. My only complaint is that the cheesecake serving was very small, but that may be just the greedy part of me. Definitely visit here for a variety of vegan options.

I was thankful for this place - Edit
I have been in Italy, variety of different places and realized how very difficult it is to be vegan. Some places have no clue what vegan is, think vegetarian is vegan. This place didn’t just have spaghetti with tomato sauce or awful pasta with a few slivers of tofu, it actually had a vegan menu! Not sure if they changed things recently with the reviews I was reading. But they have vegan desserts too! I had the vegan lasagna and Nutella cheesecake. So good! Would definitely recommend.
