Solid delco spot - Edit
One of our go-to spots in Ridley. Breakfast quesadilla is on point. Solid pancakes and French toast. Loads of breakfast and lunch items, especially for delco! Usually a good selection of cake and cupcakes from Batter & Crumbs.

Pretty good - Edit
I was at least a bit disappointed last time that their hours were not accurately listed online. Made the 45 min drive for nothing, however the fact that they offer a vegan version of almost every item on the menu is pretty impressive. I’ve ate here 3-4 times and it’s always good. They tend to be out of the vegan mozzarella sticks, have yet to try them. And another time I specifically asked for gluten free cauliflower tacos and I was given seitan. Not that serious for me, but it could have been for someone else. They replaced them and comped them. The owner is super chill and apologized for the situation.
Read morePros: Moderately priced , Tons of options, Great food
Cons: Limited hours , Always out of the mozz sticks

Good vegan breakfast food - Edit
It isn’t the best vegan diner food I’ve ever had, but it is good! Lots of options for vegans and all vegan items are separated on the menu. The restaurant was COLD, so bring layers!

Frankly it was delicious! - Edit
Nice little place with a surprising amount of vegan options. There is a vegan-specific section of the menu and also regular items that can be made vegan are indicated. We had the seitan wings, an impossible burger, the Rueben, and cake (made by local vegan bakery Batter and Crumbs). Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Ate too much and regret nothing - Edit
I had the mozzarella sticks and there were 5 JUMBO (I'm talking the length on a pencil, but the width of a banana haha) and they were fabulous! Got two meals, one for me and one for my fiance, and they were delicious as well! Also got the wings and was impressed. Can't go wrong!

Awesome unassuming little place with not only a separate vegan section on their menu, but many of their omni choices can be made vegan too! So many options, great prices, large quantity of food, great service. I definitely recommend for vegans and non vegans, and will definitely be returning!

You must go! - Edit
I had the tacos with cauliflower and my husband had the vegan sloppy joe. Amazing! You must try this place. It’s small and a little noisy when it’s busy. Very casual. Well worth it! BYOB.

2016: My boyfriend & I stopped by here and were blown away by how many options they had for Vegans! The service was excellent & the waitresses were very sweet and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. We spoke to a very friendly gentlemen, who I'm assuming is an owner. He is also Vegan and is responsible for all the Vegan dishes at Frankie's. Overall, it was a immensely satisfying experience. We will be back and we will be bringing friends. Definitely eat at Frankie's!!!

The Vegan toasted ravioles were very nice & crunchy on the outside & soft inside. The Marshmallow pumpkin pie cake 🎂 was one of the best cakes ever.

Family Friendly and Tasty - Edit
My husband had a vegan cowboy burger he totally scarfed down. I had the vegan Ruben and it had a classic deli taste. I was really impressed. The place had great vegan kids offerings and my 7 and 9 year olds were both happy. Don't go at mealtime though. The place is small and had a long bathroom line downstairs and only one bathroom for men and women though it was clean. Took a star off because even though no one in my family is disabled, I couldn't see how anyone with a mobility impairment could get to the bathroom.
Read morePros: They welcome families. , Even some things not labeled vegan can be made veg, Really creative food ideas.
Cons: Crowded., Not super disability friendly.

Excuse my humor LOL! If you didn't catch... Vegan business lol.

For starters i absolutely adored the treatment I've received. I had placed an order for pick up and unfortunately got lost. Ashley, the sweetheart that placed my order called me to see if I was ok since I didn't show up to pick up my food. Once, I finally arrived I was instantly greeted with so much warmth from the staff.... i decided to eat in. I ordered the vegan Waffle & "chik'n"... It was sooo good (3 o's so you know it's real) . They have a lifetime customer. Thank you for an outstanding experience.
Pros: Lots of Vegan options, The prices are reasonable, Great food and staff

Vegan Options! - Edit
My boyfriend and I just found out about this place and we both ordered the vegan cheesesteaks, which are amazing and come with fresh chips and a pickle! They have a vegan section on their menu along with a (V) symbol next to a bunch of other menu items, meaning it’s not typically vegan but they can accommodate and make it vegan for you. Friendly staff and fast service!

Excellent variety of vegan options! - Edit
I've been looking everywhere for a place that's close to my home (not within the city of Philadelphia) and Frankie's is my hidden gem. They have so many vegan options, even butter for toast, sour cream, etc. which I truly think makes a big difference in my dining experience. I hate having to settle for the salad at most of the places near my home and Frankies provides many, many different and tasty vegan options!

What a delightful little place! We stopped on our way out of the airport (not a far drive) and their vegan menu is outstanding! We would have never suspected that this diner would be not only vegan friendly, but with a fully stocked vegan menu of comfort food cooking! We had the seitan Philly cheesesteaks and buffalo cauliflower appetizer. Our kids had vegan chicken & waffles, and everyone left stuffed! So excited to see many additional options like vegan ranch and multiple milk options for the kids! Very friendly staff too. Seems like a neighborhood place.

great vegan options!!! - Edit
We are a family with three teens (one vegan) and sometimes struggled to find a place that makes everyone happy. We were thrilled to find Frankie's, right in the town next door. My daughter and I both ordered vegan breakfast items (the vegan cheesesteak and the French toast). Both were delicious! We eve were given a vegan cupcake, which was fabulous! We can't wait to go back!

Amazing! - Edit
I've only eaten there once, but it was sooo delicious!! I had the vegan chick'n Parm over Penne. It was so good! A little pricey for me, but I'm not from the area..and I get the impression that that is normal. The staff were very nice and friendly, nice atmosphere, and I love that they have a separate vegan menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner with many tantalizing options on each. Can't wait to go back! I would give it 5 stars if the computer would let me.
