Serves meat, vegan options available. UK chain of pizzerias est. 1986 in Brixton Market as a stand alone shop by Franco who later sold the business to his friends who named the shop "Franco Manca" (Italian for “Franco is missing”) as an homage to the founder. Makes sourdough pizza from slow-rising dough, which are baked in a wood-fired oven. One pizza is vegan by default; may pay for additional toppings such as spinach, artichokes, and plant-based cheese. Also has rotating vegan specials. Other vegan menu items are olives, pizza bread, and dessert sorbet. Open Mon-Wed 11:00-21:00, Thu 12:00-21:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-22:00, Sun 12:00-21:00.

Really good pizza base

Great sourdough pizza base! Hadn't had halloumi on a pizza before but it worked well.

I really enjoyed vegan pizza here. Although the option is few, it was very tasty.

Gave me dairy cheese

I asked to remove the dairy cheese and add vegan cheese to my pizza. They served me vegan cheese mixed with mozzarella instead, telling me my pizza is a vegan pizza.
Because the cheese was mixed, I didn’t realise until much later when I became very ill.

My advice: Don’t risk eating here as a vegan, and especially if you have allergies.

Great Pizza!

Good to see a vegan special on the menu as well as the option for vegan cheese. Also does great no logo beer. Service was a little sluggish but all in all a nice place.
