Serves meat, vegan options available. UK chain of pizzerias est. 1986 in Brixton Market as a stand alone shop by Franco who later sold the business to his friends who named the shop "Franco Manca" (Italian for “Franco is missing”) as an homage to the founder. Pizza! - Edit
Delicious! Franco Manca technically have only one vegan pizza on the menu, but because you can build your own you can have loads of different pizza toppings. They also had a vegan special on the menu the night that we were there - mushroom, caramelised red onion and a spicy watercress pesto. Friendly service and the price isn’t too bad. There’s also some vegan sides.

Great sourdough pizza - Edit
This was my first sourdough pizza and it was really delicious! We decided to do takeout, and thankfully they sliced the pizza, so we didn’t have to deal with that.

Tasty pizza. Never had pomegranate on a pizza before!
Read moreThe menu had a vegan special, and a basic vegan margarita.
Got a free beer because they didn't have the ale I knew was vegan in stock and had I had to settle for the lager. Bit disappointing the manager didn't know if the beers brewed specifically for that restaurant were vegan though. I had to look up online
Pros: Tasty and interesting recipes
Cons: Limited options , Drinks menu not labelled vegan

Good pizza - Edit
Great pizza but not a huge amount of choice. There was only one vegan pizza on the menu. I know you could add more toppings and change the cheese to vegan cheese.

Underwhelming - Edit
Unfortunately when it comes to vegan pizza in Exeter we are quite spoilt. I had the vegan special which included onions, pesto and hazelnuts. No vegan cheese though?!
Read morePizza itself was a bit soggy and toppings didn’t add much flavour at all.
The Stable or Firehouse are more worthy of your custom.
**P.s Their homemade lemonade has honey in it!!**
