Absolute heaven! - Edit
I lived in Korea for 8 years pre-vegan and when I come here I can eat and drink some of my favorite Korean foods and drinks while having everything made both vegan and perfectly! They have a range of Asian food, but my favorites are always the Korean dishes❤️

Can’t wait to try more - Edit
We were feeling like a light dinner after the huge lunch we had so we didn’t try as many dishes here as we would have liked. We got the spicy kimchi bibimbap (with brown rice) and vegetarian curry hotpot. Both were amazingly good! Loved the vegan chicken in the curry! Next time I’d like to try their kimchi dumplings or pancakes.

Might be the best meal I’ve ever had - Edit
My palette had things it didn’t recognize or only vaguely recognized in the most exciting way with the yakitori, and the stone bowl duck dish was sizzlin’ and superb. The Reincarnation cocktail was refreshing, and I’m excited to try the black sesame pie (which i brought back to the hotel for desert). Separate GF menu with knowledgeable staff.

My favorite restaurant on the planet. - Edit
I’ve been here four times, each time it’s absolutely blown my mind.
Read moreThe sushi rolls are creative and delicious, all of the entrees are vibrant and fun. Great cozy atmosphere.
It’s quite expensive (or maybe I just over order each time) but worth it for a top tier vegan experience.
Pros: Food is unbelievable , Creative and delicious options , Incredibly cozy
Cons: Expensive , Can never order everything I want

Freaking amazing - Edit
Sooooooo delicious! The mock meats in the penang noodles were varied and each were scrumptious. Fried dumplings were amazing. Can’t wait to come back, they have so many different options. Vanilla ice cream was quality as well.

Delicious rice bowls and ramen! - Edit
Stopped here for lunch after our first choice had too long of a wait, and wow I’m so glad we ended up here! We got the spicy kimchi stone bowl and and zen ramen lunch special with dumplings and it was all so good. The dumplings were some of the best I’ve had, the ramen was light but still had a lot of flavor, and the rice bowl was sizzling and spicy and so so good! I highly recommend coming here!

Great place! - Edit
I’ve been to Franchia countless times over the years. It is a place that you’re not ashamed to bring your non-vegan friends to - the ambience is awesome and looks “expensive” if you know what I mean and the food is good. I’ve brought several non-vegan friends here and they liked it a lot. The menu has quite a lot of variety - from a gluten-free section to sushi, noodles, bibimbap and other rice dishes, mock meats and veggie dishes, plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, tea and desserts. I eat mostly WFPB and sos-free, and the dishes here are never exceedingly salty or oily like at many other restaurants.

Korean fusion at its finest - Edit
There aren't enough words to express how much I love Franchia.
Read moreJudging by the name, you'd have no idea it's a Korean fusion restaurant. My boyfriend was pleasantly surprised when he saw the menu, worried that it would just be tea sandwiches and salads.
There are so many different options, and (mostly) everything I've ever tried is great. Especially love their spicy chicken roll.
I've found that I'm not a fan of vegan seafood (like the Zeastar salmon) which is what they used in their chirashi bowl. Just a textural thing, but my boyfriend enjoyed it.
Lovely interior and service is quick.
Pros: Vegan Korean, Tons of options

Tasty vegan options - Edit
We got two entrees: the spicy chicken and meatballs and the sashimi with crab. The chicken was fantastic, the meatballs were good but a bit mushy, the sashimi had a perfect texture and wasn't too fishy, and the crab was better than most fish-based crab I've had.

Ambiance, Service, Delicious Food - Edit
Dish after dish of complex tasting, gorgeous food. We had soup of the day (cauliflower), chicken satay, pho, combo pancakes and mocha cake. All were amazing! The service is helpful and attentive and the ambiance is beautiful yet casual. A must-visit!

Truly excellent - Edit
Everything we ate was perfectly prepared, from the perfectly-spiced broth of the Penang noodle soup down to the slight crunch of the broccoli in the stone bowl (highly recommended for the delicious crunchy rice that sticks to the bottom!). The Korean wines are really delicious too. We took two non-vegans with us and they loved it and couldn't believe how realistic the chikin dish was! Definitely one of our favorite places we've tried in New York so far.
