Rude customer service man bun guy with glasses - Edit
Read all other reviews everyone complaining about customer servicein google.WARNING: TOURIST SHOULD COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE INSULTED BY MAN BUN GIY WITH GLASSES We went here a little early bec. We came from queenstown, we bragged about the food being lovely thats why when my family visit we went straight here. We arrived at 1130am the guy said they open at 12 i asked if its ok to wait outside and he said ok so we waited outside sitting, while outside HE STARTED TALKING TO OTHER STAFF MOST PROBABLY THE OTHER STAFF IS ASKING THE MAN BUN GUY IF WHAT WE ARE DOING OUTSIDE THE MAN BUN GUY WITH GLASSES SAID, AND I HEARD IT WITH MY OWN EARS, "BEC THEY DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1130 AND 12,AND NOW SHE IS LOOKING AT ME",HE WENTTO THE OUTSIDE TABLE AND HANDED US THE MENU, I SAID NO IT OK NO RUSH AND I KEEP SAYING SORRY, ( TO LET HIM KNOW WE WORK IN RESTAURANT AS WELL)PROBABLY HE THOUGHT We DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS SAYING AS THE RESTAURANT IS EMPTY SO IT IS ECHOING, JUST SO HE KNOWS WE UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND WE'VE BEEN IN NEW ZEALAND FOR 13 YEARS, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE EXPERIENCE THIS KIND OF GUEST SERVICE, HE COULD HAVE SAID NO YOUCANT SIT OUTSIDE JUST COMEBACK LATER, THEN WE WONT HAVE PROBLEMS. IM PISSED AND ANGRY WE CONFRONTED THE GUY AS IT SLOWLY SINK IN TO ME AS IT WAS THE FIRST TIME IVE EXPERIENCED IT, MAN BUN GUY WITH GLASSES YOU ARE RUDE DONT WORK IN HOSPITALITY SERVICE IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE. I SWEAR AT HIM WHILE LEAVING, IM ANGRY AND PISSED, I ALWAYS SUPPORTED YOU WHEN YOU GO TO QUEENSTOWN AND NOW I HAVE TO RETHINK IT. YOU HAVE RUDE, DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR MAN BUN GUY WITH GLASSES(TM), JUST BEC WE DONT LOOK LIKE YOU OR YOU THINK WE DONT UNDRSTAND WHAT YOU GUYS BEC IF WE ARE WHITE YOU PROBABLY WONT TALK TOO LOUDLY, THIS HAPPENED TODAY DEC 23 WANAKA. I had a pasta meal made vegan. It was okay but small portion and not much flavour. The pizzas looked good though, and they have a nice selection of drinks

Half of the Pizza was burned - Edit
The pizza here is quiet tasty, but half of it was unfortunately burned below, which was a big disappointment. The vegan cheese was okay. Other than that the restaurant is really nice and the have a small vegan menu.

Speak to the staff and they’ll accomodate your vegan needs - they made up a tomato-based pasta with vegetables & walnuts, and the kale salad just needed Parmesan left off, easy. Their pizza special was a vegan pizza even.

What a gem - Edit
Wait staff knew instantly what’s vegan or can be made so. Had a fantastic pizza and a kale salad. Atmosphere is wonderful, the pizza oven in the main room adds to the comfy vibe. Really impressed with the food quality and had a superb evening there.
