Read moreSadly, Foxtrot’s matcha latte fell flat. While they did use the best oat milk for matcha lattes (Oatly!), the way Foxtrot prepared the matcha latte left it tasting like hot water / nothing. I’m not sure of the quality of the matcha they used (didn’t ask, but I don’t think it’s ceremonial grade based on the quality of my drink). Moreover, I wonder if they used Oatly’s Barista version (gray box, best for lattes) or if they just used the basic everyday version (usually the blue box, which can lead to lattes tasting watery). I tried the matcha latte at three different locations and got the same bland result.
The venue itself is very cute. There’s a little market inside; however, I noticed the Wicker Park location had more vegan products than this location. You can also order a vegan avocado toast here.

Coffee is good here - Edit
Coffee is good here and they have both caffeinated and decaf options as well as more tea options than some of their smaller locations. It is a nice area to work or study as there is a lot of natural light. Very busy on the weekends.
