Crap options - Edit
Basically told that it’s a country town so they mostly eat meat, then offered us cheese in a toastie to “make it more fancy”. If you want to have a completely limited choice that includes toast with sliced avo, spinach, tomato and the granola without yoghurt - then this is the place to come. Not too much choice in this town though as it is.

Don't Bother. - Edit
Don't bother if you are vegan or vegetarian. There are NO options at all and the chef asks if you eat fish. A "salad??" was offered after much prompting but it wasn't offered forthcomingly.

Where the local vegans eat - Edit
Travelling through this region on the weekend, I thought there were few options as a vegan until I found this place. On Lake Nagambie, this homely cafe is welcoming and accommodating.
Read moreOur hostess advised that most items on the menu can be made vegan. The soup of the day was a spicy Thai pumpkin soup with coconut milk, which smelt delicious. They will use separate pans for vegan cooking. After so many choices and some indecisiveness, I decided on the big vegan breakfast, it was great!
Regional produce is sourced wherever possible, so there will be seasonal changes. But, you know it is fresh (and has not been sitting in cold store for months) and it is made with such passion.
The coffee is excellent, they use Bonsoy. The service is friendly and there is outdoor seating. If you are in the region, drop by.
