Good vibes with vegan options!

I had a really nice hot chocolate with oat milk (option with extra cost) and one out of the two vegan sweet option called the Napolitain, a layered pastry.
Regarding the salty options, there was a quinoa salad but one bagel could be veganized by asking it without the cheese.

Pros: Good beverage, Nice sweets

Cons: Not a lot of vegan food options

Great for breakfast

On weekdays they have a breakfast called breakfox for 9euros including a hot drink, orange (fresh) or apple juice, 3 slices of bread, butter (not vegan) and different spreads. Some of them are actually vegan, one is like nutella. Plant milk costs 0.80 euros extra! Free water to drink, infused with different herbs/veggies.
It's decorated like a 2nd hand shop, a lot of seating inside and outside. Some vegan desserts, clearly marked. Staff could speak English, was nice.

Pros: Nice interior, Great for breakfast, Some dessert options

Cons: 80cents for plant milk!

Tasty cake and coffee, pricey

Some vegan options, including neopolitan cake, a pumpkin muffin, and a vegan sandwich. Plenty of coffee choices as well, but there is an extra charge for plant milks.

The neopolitan cake was tasty, but a bit dry. The muffin was also tasty, as was the espresso I had.

Well decorated and cozy interior, friendly staff, and a nice location. However, it is pretty expensive, and it would be nice to have a few more vegan options.

Not sure if it’s worth it

It is so nice to have vegan option especially pastry. And at Fox the pastry are very good, and you won’t be hungry after eating it! That’s for sure.
And the place is well decorated, everything seems perfect at first sight.
But.
And there is a major but.
This place is more expensive than most of pastry shop in Paris. And it’s not due to quality.
Each napolitain slice cost 4.1€…
The v60 coffee cost 8€, it’s the same price as the best coffee shop (multiple award winning) in Paris!
On top of that, there is an extra cost for plant based milk of……. 0.8€! I was speechless. Half price of one liter for a cup of coffee…..
So yes, it’s good to have an option, but I supposed this is the “hype” shop of the moment in Metz and price follow the hype.

Cons: Way too expensive

Only vegan option was a cake

Tried having breakfast here but many things were sold out. When asking for vegan options we were offered a Napolitan cake and a sad small bowl of cold potato wedges which we declined.
Ended up with a veggie breakfast instead but it was not good at all. The lentil salad tasted awful, weirdly sour as if it had gone off. Cheese/eggs bagel was so-so. Iced coffee and matcha was bland.
The cafe is cute but the food and drinks super disappointing. Only 1 vegan cake on offer.

Pros: Cute cafe, lots of seating outside

Cons: Very few vegan options, Food wasn't nice at all, Bland drinks

A hidden pearl

The Fox was the most charming little cafe that I have been to in France. An absolute pearl with it's aesthetics and it's food.

In love with their Napolitain cake

When visiting, I had to choose among three vegan sweet options: two Napolitain cakes and one muffin. I went with the white Napolitain cake as it seems to be a classic here, and I was not disappointed! I also like that they give you a whole pot when you order tea. Yay!

Pros: Friendly staff, Cosy atmosphere, Yummy cake

Cons: Not completely vegan, Nothing is organic.

Gorgeous café with amazing vegan bakes

This is the cosiest café ever!!!!! Absolutely loved the interior, went on a Sunday at midday for coffee and cake.
Many different plant milks, and on arrival they had two vegan bakes (clearly labelled): we tried the pumpkin muffin and neapolitan chocolate cake, which were both to die for. A must visit if in Metz!

Pros: Nette Mitarbeiter*innen

Cons: Etwas teurer

Delicious vegan cakes!

We went here for breakfast but unfortunately they don't offer vegan bread so I had to eat very tasty marble cake for breakfast. Could be worse though. ;)

Pros: Super cute interior design, Vegan cakes!

Cons: Unfortunately no vegan breakfast, only vegetarian

Cute, but don’t come hungry

Okay, this place was rly cute and upon reading the description again, it’s true - plant milks were there. I was just bummed that only one pastry/dessert out of probably twenty options was vegan (and a Neopolitan at that lol, ew). Anyway, they did have avo toast and granola, so you can get by but more options would be appreciated!

Pros: Plant milks , Nice atmosphere

Cons: Not many options

Nice place to relax before/after traveling

Perfectly located spot and great opening hours for train travelers. I often meet friends here to sit comfy before I catch a train. Would be perfect with a few more vegan desserts. As expensive as Starbucks (similar drinks too). Nice staff.

Pros: Location, opening hours, drinks choice, atmosphere

Cons: A bit expensive for a regional town
