Love the food - Edit
Pub food! Loved the vegan nachos and the burger. There’s not too many “distinct” things but it’s great for just having a Pub meal in my opinion. Like the atmosphere and enjoyed going here.

Family friendly pub with decent vegan options. We visited as a party of 6 (3 vegans) and ordered the beyond burger, enchiladas and a kids meal.
Read moreThe beyond burger was served with fries and onion rings and was ok, but the enchiladas were surprisingly better than expected and were very tasty and nicely spiced. The kids meal of chips, sausages and beans was good value at just £2.99 and just £1 for vegan ice cream.
Overall, not a bad option if you're in the area and are out with non-vegans.

A Forced Festive Gathering - Edit
Had a works Christmas meal here and was reasonably impressed with the vegan options. I can’t actually remember what I had for the main course such was the blandness. Maybe a nut roast? In any case, it’s now been consigned to history. However, in salvation the vegan chocolate and cherry torte was pretty exceptional. Even non vegans in my company who had the same dessert were astonished as to how good it was, and couldn’t believe it was vegan. What a sheltered life they must lead. This is good place for compromise where vegans can eat relatively safely then walk away in the knowledge they may only have to return in a year’s time. You never know, things may even improve by then. I suspect they might.
