Terrible service - Edit
Was super excited to eat here during my trip. It was the #1 restaurant I wanted to go to during my first vacation in the South, & let me tell you THAT WAS NOT THE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY I HAD HEARD OF. Our server plopped my salad down on the table & the dressing cup spilled all down my leg. Thankfully I was wearing shorts because any pants or dress would’ve been ruined with that oil. She was not apologetic & rude when I asked for napkins.

*side note: their sister shop, Coffee Fox has a delightful friendly staff & AMAZING Cinnamon rolls!

This food was incredible. We went there for breakfast our first morning in Savannah. Everyone loved it including one nonvegan.

Do not miss! - Edit
My first time eating here was Oct 2018. I fell in love. I went three times during my trip! Lol. On our way back to NC from FL this past week we stopped in Savannah just to eat at Fox and Fig. The menu was more limited but totally worth the stop.

Unforgettable experience - Edit
Very happy to know Savannah finally has a vegan restaurant. Even more elated that it is this one.
Read moreThe atmosphere is intimate, the menu is eclectic and the service is friendly.
The CBD milkshake was beyond feeling like a kid again. The pizza block was decadent, with a tad bit too much garlic for my liking. The quiche is a great option for breakfast. I was very disappointed to know the pancakes couldn't be made gluten free, but my husband gobbled them down.
I love that the menu is presented as a local manifesto of offerings. You know where every bite came from.
The review above was my review for 2019, the below is this month!
Since going recently during the panny - I was happy to see we could still get take out. The pancakes are still amazing! The "proper breakfast" was pretty good but I wish the potatoes could have been cooked further and not so hard.
I hope in the future there will be more gluten free options. Regardless, being vegan is priority number one.. Thank you!
Cons: Needs more gluten free options (pancakes!!!)

Get the cheese bread - Edit
I came here with a group of 5, two of us being vegans and the others not. We ordered the Beyond Meat pretzel bun burger, a salad with marinated tofu, a cinnamon roll, avocado toast and cheesy bread. Honestly, most of it was just ok, but the cheesy bread was amazing! I would recommend ordering the cheesy bread for sure and then trying other items than what I’ve mentioned. Also, it was raining and they don’t have indoor seating so this is something to keep in mind.

Best Vegan but… - Edit
This was the best Vegan food of our Savannah vacation, but…. The Mac&Cheese was good, the Beyond Beef burger was solid (shockingly it came with very few veggie toppings), the “Plenty” was great and the Proper Breakfast was my wife’s favorite Vegan thing ever…
Read moreBut seriously, you spend $80 for take out lunch, get asked by the credit card machine to leave a $10 tip for takeout (which we did) and then they have the nerve to charge you an additional 50 cents when you ask for a second teaspoon of salad dressing? And you’re expected to get back in line behind 3 other parties to pay for literally a teaspoon amount of dressing. Sorry, not coming back tomorrow.

Great vegan cheeses - Edit
Fox & Fig staff are great and the food is delicious. The smoky mac was amazing along with the artisanal vegan cheeses on the picnic food plate. They also have a large selection of drinks as well as coffee and teas.

Do NOT Miss! - Edit
We were only in Savannah for one day and this was my request for food. Extremely friendly staff member took our order right inside the door before we headed back out to an outdoor table (dining in is still prohibited at this time.) Our drinks were brought out to us as soon as they were ready - and the food followed quickly. We ordered the Plant Food Picnic, Cashew Cheese Garlic Bread, and Chipotle Mac. The food exceeded expectations and the portions were generous!

Best Vegan Restaurant I’ve Ever Been To - Edit
This is my favorite vegan restaurant out of all the ones I’ve ever been too!! Vegan options are kinda hard to come by in Savannah, but having this place here makes up for it entirely. Every single thing on the menu is amazing, & every time they add more they knock it out of the park. I can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area!!

Good food, nice location. - Edit
Ate lunch here. Ordered their bowl of plenty. It was simple & fresh. Definitely not the most exciting thing on the menu but thats on me. If you’re vegan and in Savannah, this is the spot. It’s location is lovely.

Great food!! - Edit
My husband and I are visiting Savannah for the first time and decided to try this restaurant. It is tucked in a beautiful tree lined street in a residential neighborhood across from Troop Square. They have outdoor seating or you can sit across the street at the park. The food was delicious!! 😋 The staff was courteous and professional. We will definitely be dining here again!

Mac 🤤 - Edit
Mac and Cheese was soooo yummy! Take out only right now but there's a pretty square right next to the restaurant with benches where you can sit and enjoy a vegan meal under the shady trees.

When my friends and I chose an Airbnb to stay when visiting Savannah, we chose it based on the location and The proximity to a vegan restaurant. What an awesome decision!
Read morePersonnel were super helpful and friendly. The food flavors burst with an exciting variety of sweet, tangy and sometimes spicy. My friends are not vegan and they tried something everyday. The exclamations were, “WOW” and “OMG”. I tried almost everything on the menu.
I will stop at this restaurant each time I visit Savannah!
My Favorite food was the Fox Burger with pickled onion (a slight requested variation).
Pros: All vegan, including dessert, Friendly staff, Everything in the menu is exceptional
Cons: One register and a long line

Made from scratch - Edit
I tried the mac n cheese. They make the cashew cheese from scratch, which is awesome. It was a hearty, umami flavor. It definitely wasn’t bland and I like when restaurants are bold enough to go for the flavor rather than producing bland meals. Unfortunately it was a bit salty. But I would go back to try some of their other food like the chickpea stew. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious.

All Vegan Restaurant a Plus - Edit
Got some takeout from here and enjoyed it at the park across the street. We got the Plant Food Picnic, Smoky Mac, & Bowl of Plenty. All tasted good but we would probably try other things if we were to go again. The Plant Food Picnic seemed a bit expensive, but maybe the ingredients are more pricey? All in all it was tasty & it's nice that it's all vegan.
