Cool Cafe in Kalamazoo

Fourth Coast Cafe & Bakery shares it’s space with the breakfast diner Crow’s Nest on its second floor. This part of the joint restaurant, offers a chill cafe for college students to hang and grab a coffee.

They offer plant-based milk alternatives for their drinks and a few vegan pastry options. Like most cafes like this, your food options change by the day and hour. When I went they only had vegan brownies, which was tasty and not too dense.

The Fourth Coast is a reputable choice for the cool kids of Kalamazoo. Check it for a quick coffee around town, as there are not a lot of other similar options around the area.

Pros: Some vegan pastries , Breakfast restaurant upstairs

Cons: Not entirely vegan, Choices depend on time and day

Great Vegan Baked Goods

Good variety of vegan bakery items such as strawberry scones with cinnamon glaze, cookies, zucchini bread, and others. Great texture and flavor, and not too sugary. Nice selection of teas and vegan milks for lattes. Cute shop with clean tables.

Cons: Wish there was one in our home town!
