A few vegan options now - Edit
There are now a few vegan options on the menu as well as some vegan drinks. I had a vegan smoothie (made with coconut milk) which I thought was delicious. The cafe was very crowded when I visited in the early afternoon on a weekday.

One vegan thing on menu - Edit
There’s only one vegan thing (a big breakfast) labelled on the menu now and a couple of things in the cabinet. I had the quinoa tart, which was nice but pretty pricy at $14. I’d like to see more and better options here

Vegan options not on menu - Edit
Vegan big breakfast is the only vegan option listed on the menu. Serving staff weren’t aware of what the other vegan dishes were. Kitchen staff had to be called out to discuss what could be veganized. None of the cabinet food marked as vegan.

Such a good coffee and breakfast. They have a vegan big breakfast, avo smash and a couple of other things that are made vegan. Food was delish! They are very generous

Chilled cafe inside the library. Does a mean vegan breakfast and has a good selection in the chiller cabinet. Quite expensive but for the location I guess it’s reasonable.

Lovely relaxed cafe with friendly and efficient staff, heaps of vegan options both on the menu and counter food. Quick service, jazz playing in the background, great food and excellent coffee.

The blueberry hotcakes (for non-kiwis, these are thick American style pancakes) were delicious and came with vegan icecream.
Read moreThe cabinet choices on the day we visited were limited but we purchased a vegan ‘bounty’ slice and vegan chocolate cake. Both were huge portions and well worth the money.
