Super tasty

Everything we had here tasted great. The sesame noodles are highly recommended. There is an English menu, but it's a little difficult to figure out how big the portions are. However, you can always order more if you want.

Cheap, Delicious Taiwanese

An absolute must if you are plant-based, vegetarian, vegan, or someone that simply wants an inexpensive and delicious meal.

It's a no-frills shop with an abundance of plant-based take on Taiwanese comfort food. You've got noodles, baos, dumplings, rice congee, and more, and there is so much to choose from that you'll have to think fast when ordering.

We ordered a couple of items including their savory rice pudding, veggie dumplings, and a noodle soup. Everything came out to around NT150 which was honestly a great deal considering we left feeling quite full. If we had more stomach space, we would've definitely tried to eat more.

English menu available and all items are vegan unless containing egg. Service is quick so be sure to have an idea of what you want when you get up to the counter.

Pros: Lots of cheap options

Great late night option

Glad to find a veg place open late in Tainan. They had a huge cauldron of pumpkin congee on the go, so we got a large bowl of that. It was creamy and loved the little chunks of mushroom and pumpkin in there. Generous portion size. Also enjoyed the lamb curry rice. I wouldn’t recommend the dumplings because they were very bland.
We came back another evening and they were sold out of a lot but we got some flavourful sesame noodles. You can also choose a basket of veg, tofu and mock meats from the front which they cook for you.

Pros: Cheap , Lots of vegan options , Open late

Great go-to place

Not much more I can say about a place so popular with so many reviews except to add be prepared to sometimes wait - it’s so popular with locals I had to wait a couple times during peak times but it’s well worth it and the crew behind the counter really hustles to keep things moving. Great hot food at the usual food stall prices, open late and lots of variety.

Pros: Variety, Friendly, Open late

Cons: Might be a wait sometimes

Enjoy food and place

Loved the immense choice and that every dish was what local veg*ns eat. Quality was excellent and I had a full meal for half the price I paid for a coffee in Taipei. Very busy, itself a facination.

A popular dine in and take away place.

They had a English menu and the staff spoke passable English, and so communicating with them was easy. The food portions were sumptuous. They have both dine in and take away options.

Pros: Comfortable seating, Reasonable price, Sizeable portions per serving.

Great place with lots of options

We had the spicy dumpling soup, which was quite spicy, but not too hot.

Food came out quickly with no fuss.

No-one speaks English, but they have an English menu. Two of us ate for NTD800.

It is fascinating to watch - and gets pretty busy with - people filling baskets for their personalised meals.

Pros: Quick, cheap and delicious, A wide variety of food - all vego

Nice Taiwanese food!

Pretty good food with lots of options! Similar to other places I've seen in Taiwan. Tried the wonton noodles soup (it was good with some extra spices but it only came with 3 wontons!) and my partner had the sesame noodles!
They have an English menu available😄
You can pick braised tofu, mock meat or vegetables as an extra side dish.

Cheap and so good!

Amazing place to eat vegan cheap food! The portions are huge, for example the tarot congee only costs 30$ and we weren't hungry anymore. Wontons, dumplings and buns are so good!!
They have an english menu, we took a picture to download it on Happy Cow :)

Simple, good restaurant

We ate here yesterday. There was nobody who could speak English, but there was a menu in English (that apparently has been done recently) that helped us make our order. We ordered two noodle soups and a portion of dumplings and paid NT$ 150, a quite fair price. The food is OK, not super delicious but definitely good. The staff was friendly and they served our food pretty quickly.

Pros: Many options, Good price

Cons: Hard to know what’s really vegan

everything is yummy

we were lucky there was a student who spoke english, otherwise we would just point at something on the menu; staff does not speak english, but they ask every customer if they are vegan. we wanted some rice with different veggies and tofu/ mock meat. it was awesome and oh all the flavors and the variety! I highly recommend it!

Lots of options, cheap and filling

Items on the menu aren’t all available, but they do have a lot of options and the portions are filling. Not the tastiest and best cooked meal I’ve ever had - I got the curry rice and it was a bit cold for my liking. The ladies working there aren’t friendly and you need to point and blurt out something or else they will ignore you even if you’re standing in front of them for a while. They will just serve every other customer that walks in after you and says an order.

Pros: Lots of different options , Cheap and filling food

Cons: Staff are not friendly, Curry rice is a bit bland and cold

Great soup, lots of choice

They don't really speak English here, but with a bit of help we were able to order some delicious noodle soup with out choice of braised veg, which you pick out yourself a la veggie creek. Really delicious! They assured us everything was vegan but usual Taiwan mock meat raised eyebrow should probably apply

Nice and cheap

I came here because the girl of the dove tail told me it was cheap and close, after going there i was really happy.
I had to communicate with my translator so they understood vegetarian, vegan, etc, and then show me pictures of the plates i could eat.
Because of the lenguage barrier i ended up ordering a soup (amazing, a lot of different flavours), and some stir fried lots of of tofu and vegetable (kind of plain, but you can use some of the great sauces they have to make it better) The portions were huge, and both dishes were only TND 200.

Pros: Cheap, Taiwanese food, Mostly vegan

Cons: No english
